Summit Place of Southpark is a very special and amazing place!! My grandfather spent the last 1.5 years of his life here and we are so thankful that he was surrounded by such caring and wonderful caregivers in the end. Summit Place became our extended family and my brother and I enjoyed visiting with all of the staff and residents during our visits with Ed. All of the staff members took the time to get to know us by name and were so kind every time we visited, even entertaining my daughter when i brought her along. The MedTechs and RNs really took the time to keep me informed and up-to-date on everything that was going on and the Executive Director, Amy Warren was always so sweet and available any time that I needed her. I know my grandfather was happy and very well taken care of at Summit Place and I am very grateful for everything that they did my grandfather and my family.

Summit Place of Southpark is a community that cares! The entire staff and management treated my mother with the care and attention she needed to ensure she remained in a safe, watchful and attentive environment without disrupting her quality of life. In conversation with my mother on a daily basis, she would continue to tell me how nice and helpful everyone was to her and the nice friends she made. She regularly went to her meals without hesitation and enjoyed them. By the way, my mother is fussy. If your searching for an assisted living community and if your transition is simple or complex, Summit Place of Southpark will help and guide you all the way.

I toured most of this community since I am taking my dad out of another place in town and moving him. The place was very clean and I was impressed with the staff and nursing department. I hear the physical therapy group on hand is outstanding and I met the manager and she was wonderful. Very caring group.

I have been visiting some of the first class facilities in Charlotte and really liked what I saw at this one. The building is set up like a five star hotel. The room selections are nice, dining is set up like a restaurant and there are many stimulating things set up for those residing there. The staff were knowledgeable and seemed to care about everyone there. The pricing is expensive, but the care offered makes it worth it. I would like to assist several of the elderly in seeking an environment where they will be allowed to thrive. God will lead me to those people.

I love working for Summit Place. The staff and managers are all like a big family. I love that everyone goes above and beyond to make sure that our residents care and happiness come first. I cant wait to see what the year of 2020 has to bring.

My mother lived in Summit place for nearly 4 years. The care she received was beyond excellent. The staff became our extended family. So good and so caring for my mother. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

My mother had a positive experience at Summit Place. They had a caring staff, many of whom had worked there for years. The activity director organized many events including a carnival in the parking lot. Meals were tasty. Dining hours were flexible. They accommodated breakfast even at 9:45. Mother sat at a dining table with 5 other residents who became her friends. We highly recommend Summit Place.

I have worked as a private sitter for over 9 years within this community and I can say that they are some of the most caring people I have ever met. The CNAs, Med Techs and Managers do as much as they can to accommodate the residents and families. The RN is very responsive and attentive to the needs of the residents. The dining service and meals are fantastic. The Chef really focuses on what the residents like. Activities continuously host socials, outings and educational opportunities so the residents can feel purposeful and fulfilled. Im glad to have had the opportunity to work closely with this team. The Executive Director Amy is very sweet and focused on doing the best for the residents.

Selected Summit Place because of a previous very positive, short term experience. As far as helping us get settled in everyone has been so helpful, encouraging, conscientious, thorough, patient and staff seem to love their jobs here. Denise has gone above and beyond!!!

I had been searching for a memory care assisted living facility for my grandfather for quite some time when I came across Summit Place at South Park and met with Denise. Denise was amazing thru the entire process and even still today, she sends me photos of my grandfather participating in activities and always has great stories to share when I visit! She walked me thru everything and really made me feel confident in my decision. My grandfather has been at Summit Place since October and everyone has been so great! The place is clean and staff is always so sweet and helpful. I am very thankful that we found Summit Place and I know that my grandfather is happy and in a good, safe place! Denise is so great and Im SO thankful I met her and had her assistance thru this hard, but necessary process.

I began the search for Assisted Living for my parents over a year ago. I met Denise Cobb and we talked at length about my parents situation. She just kept in touch with me off and on to see what was going on with Mom and Dad. She was not pushy and was very professional. My Dad had a hospital and rehab stay and Mother realized she couldnt take care of him by herself any longer. I got with Denise again and took my Mom and started the process. Denise made it as easy as possible and held our hands thorough out the journey. My parents are moving in on Thursday and my Mom (even though she wouldnt admit it) is excited. The facility itself is very clean, the people are all very friendly and it feels like a family. The staff knows everyone of the residents. My brother, sister-in-law and I will have such peace of mind knowing my parents are in a safe place and will be well cared for. Thank you Denise for all you did and continue to do. My wife and I recently toured Summit Place and several other Southpark area assisted living facilities. Each facility offered similar services; pricing and floor plans varied somewhat. What stood out to us were the residents at Summit Place; they were smiling, engaged, and actually enjoying themselves. From the group boarding the bus in anticipation of their outing, to the friendly conversations and even sharing of hugs with staff and management, it was clear they were happy to be there. We are so relieved that we found a community for my mom that seems to get it.
