My wife's aunt lived at Providence Meadows for 3 years. The staff showed nothing but kindness and care toward her. Joe and Kim, the daytime managers, create an atmosphere of respect and loving regard for all of the residents. They have been at the community for years and are impressively devoted to their work.

WONDERFUL COMMUNITY!!! My mother in law, Doris, lived there for 3 years. Those amazing years were a chapter in her life that she will never forget. Mangers, Kim and Joe, are the kindest most gracious people. The staff is so kind and professional , no matter if they are the chef, server, sales agent, cleaner, activity director, or nurse, will help the residents with any task at any time ( finding thier rooms, carrying something...etc) Mom had a wonderful expirience with the on site in home/ community Health care service Gentle Shepherd. They helped with personal care, showering, meds, and mental support, 3 days a week. I ABSOLUTELY, recommend Gentle Shepherd Care for help with a range of small to large tasks all the way to hospice care.Thank You, Kim and Joe and all Providence Meadows Staff and residents for making these last 3 years of Doris' life comfortable, happy and memorable.

My mom loves this place, and I do as well. The managers who run the facility are some of the kindest people, very transparent and supportive. No place is perfect, but I can’t find anything that deserves a mention. Joe and Kim are amazing at running such a large property. It is truly a gracious retirement community.

Our Mother has been a resident of Providence Meadows for 14 months. The entire facility including the dining room, movie theater, activity center, chapel etc. are very well managed. It’s very family oriented with staff that truly care about the well being of the residents. It’s a relatively newer building (<10 yrs) with nice updated rooms. Multiple laundry rooms on each floor add convenience. We highly recommend Providence and appreciate all those that work to create this environment. Bill Day

My mother has been in Providence Meadows for almost 2 years. Prior to that, she lived alone in an apartment nearby. She had very little social activity and fixing meals was becoming difficult for her along with keeping up with cleaning her apartment. At Providence Meadows, she gets three meals a day, can participate in a long list of daily social activities and she doesn’t have to worry about cleaning her apartment. Most importantly, she is surrounded by a wonderful staff and people who truly care about her. Not only has her quality of life improved but she feels that she is still living independently.

My mother resided at Providence Meadows for approximately one year. This is a great location for senior adults. There is a wonderful community of senior adults living here that are engaging and accepting. In addition, Joe and Kim do a fantastic job operating this independent living facility! It is well maintained and clean. I recommend without hesitation.

I just want to say I have loved ones living here. Very loving staff and managers. Very good meal service and services stationed within the building. Update.. My parents have been living here for 14 months. One was recently hospitalized and I cannot say enough about the staff here and the residents. The main property Managers Kim and Joe have always look out for my family. The new Assistant Managers Barbara and Jeremy are amazing and my family would be lost without them. Beth the head of PT and OT in the building is amazing along with her staff.. I spend a lot of time at the facility and hands down this is the best Independent Living which also provides assistance by Legacy and Gentle Shepherd. I highly recommend Providence Meadows if I could give 100 stars I certainly would.

We were in a very difficult spot with our father-in-law. Bobby, Kim, Tina, Randy, Jimmy and Jill all made our transition so graceful and compassionate. I will never forget their dedication to us. We never felt like just a number. They dedicate their efforts to making this feel like a true community. Thank you, from our family.

Ian very happy, housekeeping has been wonderful, the food is incredible. Chef is very creative and we always have several choices at each meal. Very welcoming atmosphere with plenty of planned activities and outings. Everything has been designed for seniors which makes life so much easier.

Kind staff, well kept facility and grounds. All of the residents seemed to be very happy. They freely moved about the property. There is plenty of parking for guests and residents. Everything is included with the rent. They even have a movie theater. Most of all I love how the staff knows everyone's name. I would love for my grandmother to live here.

Providence Meadows has a beautiful campus. It has 3 floors. It's beautifully decorated and very clean. We toured the premises. They shows three really nice rooms, one on each floor. They offer many activities. They have a fitness room. We had lunch there. We were given 4 choices for the main course. It was a very delicious meal. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants independent living

I am a current resident and was in 2 other facilities prior and can honestly say ther is no comparison. From the managers, to the kitchen, activities & maintenance staff they show genuine care & concern. There is a great comradie among residents and I consider this my home now.

My mother lived at Providence Meadows for three years, and was very happy there. The staff are exceptional, especially the managers who go out of their way to be kind and helpful. They work extremely hard to make sure the residents are comfortable and have their needs met. The facility is decorated elegantly and seasonally and meals are served in such a way that it feels like a "gracious" living environment. I am very glad we chose Providence Meadows for my mother.

A most comfortable living arrangement. Meals are well prepared with a tasty variety. Employees are knowledgeable and personable. There definitely is cell phone service available in apartments and it works very well. Internet also is available.

We moved my mother to Providence Meadows a year ago and she has never been happier! She says she wishes she moved here years ago! The Managers and Assistant Managers live on site and are always available! They have even gone to her room to check her cell phone volume when she didn't answer, and always do so with a smile. They are very attentive to all the residents and always available by cell if they aren't in the office. There are lots of activities that my mother enjoys-from Bingo to Cornhole Baseball! There is even a walking group that goes out daily, with two different pace levels to accommodate those with walkers. The transportation system is great! Carmella, the driver, takes good care to assist the residents going to doctor appointments or shopping. My mother prefers to go on the bus than to have us drive her as she says Carmella is the best! The building is secure, side doors locked, and entry after 7pm requires a key card that all residents get. It is NEVER left open or unattended. Also, the food is great! There are no assigned seating arrangements, so residents are free to sit with anyone they choose. Everyone we ate with during her move in was very pleasant. You can spend as long as you want at a meal, many residents spending up to 2 hours at the main meal, but that is just because they choose to. Lunch starts serving at 12:30 and is done in one hour. But many residents find this a time to socialize so they go early, and linger. That is only by choice. Dinner takes about 45 minutes or less. I can't say enough good things about Providence Meadows and the amazing staff! So glad my mother is here and happy!!

After touring numerous facilities in the south Charlotte area, our family unanimously agreed that Providence Meadows met all of our mother's requirements. Providence Meadows has everything you could ask for from varied daily activities, special programs, local trips, weekly housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments or shopping, and three excellent meals daily. The facility is new, beautifully decorated, and maintained to perfection both inside and out. But what makes Providence Meadows truly special is the staff. The excellent managers (Windy & Chris) and assistant managers (Jan & David) live on the premises and are available 24/7 if the need arises. They consider the residents family and share in their joys and mourn their losses. The staff knows all the residents by name, and they go above and beyond to meet their needs. David, the assistant manager, recently told me that he considers it a privilege to care for "the greatest generation." Our mother tells us daily how happy she is at Providence Meadows. She says she couldn't ask for more!

Apartments are basic apartments for seniors, nothing fancy. The common areas are very nice and clean and the decor is beautiful. Many activities available. One of the selling points is that managers live in and are always available. Marketing folks are great. Also, no cell service in apartments, very upsetting. Overall it is a very nice place.
