She gives of her heart first blended beautifully with her skills, professionalism and time. My husband spent 5 weeks under her care for the majority of his time in rehab. When Shannon was with him he was less stressed and his healing progress was very visible proof of her exceptional care. She also brought me great peace and comfort because I felt confident with her being his care giver, especially since I couldnt be with him during the Covid shut down. The best experience and support at one of the worst possible times...I reached out to Jimmy at BlueDot Cares when I needed to find private care to supplement the minimal Hospice care my father would receive upon discharge from the hospital. We knew he wanted to spend his last days in his own home—but there wasnt much time to coordinate it all. Thanks to Jimmy, Ellen, Alonda, and the schedulers at BlueDot Cares, I had the care I needed for my father, and the most wonderful experience with the caregiver who was with us when his soul left his body. God bless her...Shanta. cant rave enough about the kindness and sensitivity of the entire team to my unique experience; the speed with which they coordinated everything (and during COVID, which added additional complications); the above-and-beyond help Alonda gave when she was only in home for an assessment; and the words of sympathy received when they were notified of my fathers passing. If you need extra care for a loved one, look no further. This is a business run with the utmost respect for you and your loved one, with the kind of treatment and patience, and you only get in the South. Thanks again to the team at BlueDot Cares.

My family and I are very grateful for the efficient and caring support offered by Blue Dot when my mother was discharged from hospital following her bout with Covid. No rehab Center would take her and we did not have family members able to look after her at home initially. Thank God, someone at The hospital recommended Blue Dot and thank God Alonda came quickly to do an assessment and brought Shannon with her. Shannon was exactly the person we needed — experienced, intelligent, compassionate, reliable and very easy to speak with. She immediately understood what sort of support my mother needed and was able to offer very helpful, practical advise to help my mother get settled safely at home. She prepared good food and was neat and today, leaving the kitchen clean and organised. She took an interest in the sort of entertainment my mother enjoyed (travel shows, music, dance, etc) and was able to search for and fine programs that kept my mother engaged.Because I was able to spend many weeks with my mother and she was able to draw on other personal caregivers, we did not continue a long term contract with Blue Dot. However, we will always be grateful for the excellent support they provided over two months and we would most definitely call them first if we ever have home caregiving needs again. We can recommend them with no hesitation.

The services were nothing less than excellent care by a group of different women who worked the different shifts for my care, personal necessities and food preparation. When my 94-year-old father fell and broke his hip, we were devastated. Once he survived surgery, he was sent to rehab during this crazy Covid-19 epidemic and lock down. We were told that we were not allowed to be with him in rehab, even though my mother was his 24-7 caregiver at home. His specific challenge was his dementia, so he was an extreme fall risk. He didnt remember he had surgery or that he couldnt walk unassisted. He needed someone with him 24-7 to keep him from hurting himself and to keep his mind engaged. We had hired another agency because they had people more quickly available. However that did not end well for my dad, who was left unattended and still managed to fall even while under their supervision. When we were able to finally connect with Blue Dot Cares, that is when everything turned around for him. Their caregivers truly cared about my father and our situation. They maintained excellent contact with us. They worked diligently to fill his care schedule, and the care he received from them was absolutely top notch. In fact, the facility he was in complemented them as well! His PT progressed better, he ate better, he rested more peacefully, and was able to come home in a more timely manner, I believe, because these caregivers poured into Daddy and went above and beyond. They made sure he was safe, and facilitated his getting around in such a way that he consistently gained in strength and health. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Blue Dot Cares. Hire them. Hire them FIRST. You will NOT be disappointed! My daddy is home now, stronger and healthier then we thought could be possible that awful day he fell, in large part because of Blue Dot Cares.
