My parents (and I) were very happy with Brookdale Chapel Hill Assisted Living, and we highly recommend it! The director and staff were all very friendly and made sure my parents had everything they needed. My parents loved the food, the activities, and sitting out on the porch and in the courtyard. They had to leave when their memory problems required more supervision than an assisted living community provides, and we are very thankful for the staff’s attention to and concern for my parents safety.

After an almost 100% turnover in staff since my wife's entrance into Brookdale Chapel Hill, the current staff is very attentive to the needs of my family and the atmosphere is very congenial. I believe that every residents case is distinct and it is my responsibility as a family caregiver to, as best I can, continually monitor the care being provided and provide suggestions for improvement.

Care Givers are kind and very patient. My mother has dementia and is not always the nicest, but the staff is always kind. The facility always looks clean and nice. My mother is able to get important health care and attention right in her room from the primary care medical providers, podiatrist and physical / occupational therapists. So convenient!

Brookdale Senior living has an awesome facility. It’s staff is so caring and interactive. The food is good with a good variety. These things do come wit a price tag. But quality is worth it.

Our family is so thankful to have our 96 year-old mother here! She is very happy at Brookdale, and we can rest easy knowing she is well taken care of. The Covid restrictions they put in place very early have kept her safe and healthy.

Life-changing! Moms journey at Brookdale Chapel Hill Memory Care has been a dream come true. She is the happiest I have seen her in a long time. EVERY staff member has gone out of their way to make Mom and me part of the Brookdale family. Carrie, the Interim Director and Sales Manager, along with her team Deb, Brian, Joanne, and Finley, create a calm, soothing and respectful environment that makes Mom feel welcome and valued. Mom raves about the activities and she loves her RA, Donna, who takes care of daily needs. And Brookdale Chapel Hill Memory Care is beautiful! There are even three outdoor courtyards where residents can take a stroll. The COVID protocols for resident and staff safety are solidly in place and thoughtful. We have tried several other memory care facilities and no one comes even close to the care and love Mom has gotten at Brookdale Chapel Hill. (PS I also highly recommend the Doctors Making House Calls option for medical care and Right at Home for Companion Care. Both companies have provided stellar service.)

This is my favorite residence so far. They have 5 different room options to choose from. They charge a custom rate for what mom needs. In other words, they don't charge a Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 flat rate. Nice outdoor spaces. Beautiful front porch and back patio. Landscaped nicely. Other people living there seemed happy. Many people there are ex-professors, ex-professionals. Mix of locals and people from out of state. Staff seemed friendly and attentive. Culture felt good. They have 6 separate smaller dining rooms and people are grouped based on their conversational/intellectual level/interests. Seems like a very healthy place. Memory care people are in a separate building. They do some activities together. UNC Doctor offices are across the street. Local hotel offers discounted rate for visiting family members. Several people said that the food was good.

This is a nice, safe community, and my mother is doing well with her move here. I do feel comfortable with the care she is receiving. They have good staff at this facility, and they are taking good care of her, and her needs. It is a well-kept community, and so far everything is working out well. I would recommend this community to my family, and friends.

The salesperson I spoke to was nice and I liked this community. They seemed to offer some nice activities and the community seems well taken care of. This community does not accept medicaid so it would not work for my loved one.

The people at Brookdale Chapel Hill really went the extra mile in helping me get my dad moved there. I have truly been impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of every staff member I have met. They have been so supportive and worked with my time frame and Dad's needs.

Our visit at Brookdale was extremely informational and helpful. We are seriously looking at using their facility. We need to work out some financial issues but looks promising. Ms. Natalie and the staff were very kind and helpful. The facility was very clean and well kept.
