We have had an amazing experience so far with Woodland Terrace. From my first contact with Armondo, they have been above and beyond what we experienced everywhere else we toured. This was such a difficult decision for my dad and I, but we needed to keep my mom safe and cared for when we no longer could. Armondo was so patient and knowledgeable. He responded quickly to emails and calls. It's clear he is passionate about what he does. Yuvi then made the transition process as smooth as it could be. I imagine it is never easy, but he has reassuring and communicative through the process, and everyone has been very supportive. Now, my mom is enjoying singing and dancing with her neighbors and I could not feel better about our decision. It's clear the entire team, from leasing to the care team to the front desk personal, are genuinely kind and compassionate people.

I had a nice visit with my mom today at Woodland Terrace. And I also had a great conversation with Kay, who works in the Arboretum. Kay shared some information to help me understand the medication distribution process for the patients. She had a caring conversation with my Mom and helped my sister and I. I enjoy talking with Woodland Terrace staff, they are kind and caring.

Had a short but very nice visit to deliver a half birthday message to one of your more senior residents. Showed him a couple of pictures of our wedding and 50 years later wearing the same outfits.

Poor support when assisted living became necessary. Other than phone numbers to third party referral services no further help was forthcoming. The facility, staff and services are excellent but when needs required assisted living resident was left out in the cold. Woodland Terrace describing itself as INDEPENDENT | ASSISTED | MEMORY CARE is misleading.

The staff at Woodland Terrace are the best! Very attentive, kind and caring. My mother’s room and the whole place was neat and clean. They seem to always have some activity going on for the residents. Today was the piano guy who plays beautifully. Music makes my mom happy and I was happy to see her have such fun. It’s nice to know she’s being so well cared for.

We have lived at Woodland Terrace since November 2021. One of the best decisions we made. The staff here is not only professional, but friendly and caring. The residents here as well are a "community family". There are many activities available, and you can do as much or as little as you want, with no pressure.

I visit Woodland Terrace three times a week helping others for the past two years. The facility is beautiful and always impeccably clean and maintained. The residents are always warm and friendly. They are kept busy with exercise, interesting programs and outings. The wellness director and entire staff go out of their way to enrich the lives of all residents. Wonderful cook provides delicious meals in an upscale dining room. The consistency of staff, physical therapists so important. I never hear complaints, mostly praises from residents for Woodland. I am honored to a part of their lives!

My 93-year-old mom is in assisted living at Woodland Terrace, and she loves it! The staff is attentive, caring, and very professional. I’ve been so impressed with how proactive they are in promoting the health and well-being of the residents. They provide daily activities that stimulate the mind and body, and the wellness staff is great at encouraging and praising participation. There is also an impressive array of cultural events, with musical performers several times a week, art shows, fashion shows, and frequent outings. Woodland Terrace is in a secluded wooded area with a lake, but it’s just a short distance (walkable, even) to Kildaire Farm Rd., where shopping centers abound and most of my mom’s medical providers are located. You couldn’t ask for a better location in Cary. I am grateful to Woodland Terrace for providing a safe, welcoming community where my mom can enjoy a high quality of life.

Woodland Terrace has become our second home and extended family over the years! First it was my mom who, after dad's passing, anxiously moved from her home in VA after 50+ years to Woodland Terrace (independent living). She didn't drive and didn't know anyone outside of family. To our delight, she blossomed and thrived! After raising 7 kids and caring for many grands, she finally got to live for herself! During her years there, she made lots of friends, enjoyed many social outings and celebrations, played Scrabble and attended the non-denominational church services held on site. After 9 wonderful years there, mom passed away in 2018. Woodland Terrace could not have been more thoughtful and accommodating during that stressful time. Fast forward to 2023 when my mother-in-law chose to move to Woodland Terrace (right next door to my mom's apt!), AND unbeknownst to us, her brother and sister-in-law also moved into assisted living -- it's like a family reunion! All are very happy and active in various activities -- particular favorites are working out in their gym and playing bridge. What was especially nice was being greeted by familiar faces who remembered my mom and me, and who made my mother-in-law feel right at home. I recommend Woodland Terrace to all my friends with aging loved ones, and expect one day, I'll be following the family tradition. Thanks Woodland Terrace for taking such great care of the people we love!

Beautifully located in the heart of Cary, a wonderful park like setting with a lovely pond to enjoy. Property is well maintained and staff are friendly and most helpful - recent moved an aging parent into Woodland Terrace to allow him to age with dignity and to date are happy knowing he is comfortable, safe and has great care!

Our family recently made the difficult decision to move our mother into a memory care unit. I was given the task to explore options.A few were found, I made some calls. Once I spoke Jessica Williamson I knew I had found the right place. The move took place and everyone that I have come in contact with at Woodland have shown me I made the right decision. My mother is safe and well cared for and I am not as worried about her like I was when she was in her home with paid caregivers.

My Mom has been a resident at Woodland Terrace in the memory care unit for almost 2 1/2 months. Our experience has been extremely positive. When we realized that her memory issues were becoming too difficult to handle at home, even with care givers and personal involvement on our part, we made the decision to move her to a safe environment where we did not have to be concerned that she would wander or get lost. From the first time we visited and toured with Jessica Williamson to now, we have been so pleased. Though the initial transition was hard at first, we were always kept in the loop. Jessica would even send updates and pictures to us several times a week, and the staff was available to answer questions and concerns. My sister and I now visit Mom several times a week and usually find her engaged with other residents and joining in activities. More often than not, she tells us she is very content here. We love the large spacious grounds- it's 22 acres nestled in a quiet setting with sidewalks and a lovely lake. We can't wait to take our mom on walks once the weather cools down!

My Mom lived in Vera Springs/assisted living for about 1 1/2 years and has moved into the Arboretum/memory care wing for the past 14 months. She is loved and cared for very well. The staff always calls her by name, gives hugs or do do a little dance with her, stop in to visit/check up on her and spend a moment to compliment her on her outfit, hair or nails, which she loves to hear/do and makes her so happy. The staff from VS, the Arb, and management also always stop to say hello to me/family and to let me know when they saw my Mom and what she was up to. The interest, concern, care and honest dedication is there daily. Yes, there are mistakes made but no place is perfect and I know that those at Woodland Terrace sure make the effort to make every day for my Mom a special, caring, and loving one which in my heart is wonderful and a job well done. So glad we found Woodland Terrace!

My parents have live in Woodland Terrace for almost 3 years in the independent living facility. They were warmly welcomed and started getting involved right away. My dad joined a writers group and my mom joined the resident's board and exercise classes. They both enjoy going to the various music activities and having dinner with their friends. The grounds and property are well kept. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. My family and I have joined them in the dining room on many occasions and while the food might not be wildly exciting, we always think it is good. Overall, I like the down to earth feel of the place. Nice without being pretentious.

I have recently toured several senior living facilities and I found the staff at Woodland Terrace very warm and welcoming. They took the time to show me around and answer all of my questions. I had an opportunity to view staffs interaction with residents and I was impressed with the level of care that they showed each resident.

My Mother currently lives at Woodland Terrace and has been there for 10 years. The grounds a very pretty and the lake is nice to looks at. . . . but what really matters is the STAFF. They are absolutely fantastic! They let me know when things need to be taken care of or if Mom needs supplies. The care manager there actually CARES! My Mom will be 93 this year and forgets everything. She says there is "nothing to do" there, but I look around her room and there are hand paintings, craft projects, party supplies everywhere. I am very pleased she is there.

Stellar senior community, with openly caring staff, positive residential and staff work culture.... I've worked in healthcare for 25+ years, administrative and operational management, and am so excited for my father to live in such a positive environment. Not sure I've witnessed one any better..... We came here from a bad experience in another local facility, only to have a very warm welcome to facilitate a fresh start.... with extra attention paid to his needs and not even having to ask. The residents seem happy to be there, and conversations they have with staff sounds like old friends. You see smiles and hear laughter between them on a regular. So reassuring to see and hear in an assisted living unit... on Mother's Day senior leadership was on sight just checking in with everyone. Very nice to see.... thank you for working hard at what you do....it shows on every level Woodland Terrace.

I write this review from the perspective of a visitor, rather than as someone who has lived here. A very attractive place with well-kept grounds and superb facilities. Independent living and assisted living. The rooms appear to be large and very convenient for seniors. The bathrooms are large with plenty of grab handles. The corridors and doorways are wide and there are numerous places for residents to congregate and enjoy each other's company. The staff appear to be friendly and attentive.

It's the staff that make Woodland Terrace so different.My mom has lived here for about two years, first in Assisted Living and now in their Memory Care Unit. The staff are warm, friendly, compassionate and seem to love their work. Very pleased with Woodland Terrace and would recommend them 100%.
