I transferred to Silver Bluff Village Short Term Rehabilitation for 14 nights after a 5 night stay at Haywood Regional Medical Center. On Memorial Day I fainted trying to step out of my bicycle and the next thing I knew I was on the ground looking up into a strangers eyes, and I realized I had fainted. My foot was 90 degrees to the side due to breaking my fibula, tibia, and the heel bone. At HRMC in the ER they straightened my foot out and were excited to report that it went back into place perfectly. The next day Dr Silverberg did surgical repair with screws and plates, and I was advised not to put any weight on that leg for 6 weeks. The staff at Silver Bluff were great to me, and I was almost totally dependent on them for most of my stay. Assisting with keeping me clean and dry I never had to endure an unpleasant attitude no matter how many times they had to assist me. The food was good and the physical therapy department did a great job preparing me to go home. When I was there I did a decent job of remembering the CNA's names but too much time has passed to remember everyone. One Mother daughter team worked there mostly weekends and they both were incredibly caring. I sincerely hope I don't need to return but if I did I would be comfortable with the level of care.

Never been there looking for an assisted living place and rehab I'm a rather large person who need extra help with my hoyer lift and barriatric commode and need extra care at this time. And don't make you take the covid shot.

My grandad was in the rehab unit after a short stay in the hospital. He received excellent care from all of the nursing staff and rehab staff.

My mother needed rehab six years ago after spine surgery. She had a positive outcome the first time she was here, so when she needed rehab again for a complicated ankle fracture, we selected Silver Bluff again. Many of the staff were the same from her first stay and remembered my mother. She received genuine care and concern from the staff. The faculty has been well maintained and was very clean. She enjoyed the food and the rehab she received was outstanding. She still needed continued rehab, but unfortunately the way the Medicare guidelines are currently, she had to be moved to an assisted/long term care location. We would recommended Silver Bluff Rehab to others based on our two experiences.
