We designed the dining area at Bella Vista to be a cozy, home style setting for our residents and family members. Wonderful place! My husband and I were apprehensive about having his mother live in an independent living facility. She can do everything herself except drive. Out of the several facilities we checked out, from Waynesville to Columbus, Bella Vista was it! She is very happy there. And we are all tickled pink! Tiffany, Jonathan and Jennifer.. Bless you! Such sweethearts, and they really fuss over the residents! In between all the running around they do!

Bella Vista is not just an independent living facility, it is a lovely community. Mama says she is living the dream. She loves the people, the activities, the food, the desserts, the lovely little apartment, her housekeeper, all the stores in Chick-fil-A nearby, that her children have easy access to the Asheville airport to come to see her, pretty decor in the main building that they work so hard to upgrade this past year. Mama does the exercise classes every day except Sundays because they don't do them on Sundays. The holiday time couldn't have been more beautifully decorated. The New Year's Eve celebration included live music.

Well we have every thing in one beautiful building...a theater, exercise room, activity center beautiful rooms cleaned weekly,3 chef cook meals a day. ....wonderful managers, great friends , oh and a bus to take you to Drs. Appts or just to Ingles or Hamticks for shopping

It's a very nice place and you can live there month to month. However, don't bother to ask for special dietary needs. They will tell you yes and then fail to provide it, repeatedly. They claim it's too expensive to open a can of beans for a long-term vegetarian. 2022 Updating because the nasty employees are long gone. Food issues are still there. If you're on the standard American diet you should be OK on most days. I don't live there but visit frequently.

Cary Cole and his team at Bella Vista are the best. They truly care about the residents and go out of their way to accommodate and make each resident feel special. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great independent living facility. Food is excellent; my mom loves her apartment with views of the mountains.
