In a time when my mother needed the assistance I could no longer provide, Amy and Hillary from North Pointe of Archdale were there for us. Nothing was left out when they explained the challenges that might lie ahead. Through it all, they offered assurance that their team would provide the highest level of care every single day. To say the experience had a personal touch is an understatement. The staff knew me by name — even recognized my car — and would prepare my mother for the surprise of my arrival. Each visit began with a smile and genuine courtesy. The team was always ready to give updates and allowed me privacy and time to walk and talk with my mom. I truly recommend North Pointe of Archdale to anyone looking for a residential living community that provides exceptional care with a personal, family-oriented touch. Unfortunately, my mother must leave for personal reasons, and it’s with a heavy heart that we depart. I can only hope her new home will be as warm and family-centered as the one we’re leaving behind.

The employees working the floor in the Dementia care unit have been great, they seem to care about the patients. There seems to be something lacking when it comes to the office help, it is about impossible to get general information from them, no one seems to know what is going on. You can't get the information you need for monthly billing or when your parent has a doctor's appointment etc. out of them. You have to stay on them constantly to find out anything, and forget anyone returning your phone calls. You can usually get more information from the floor help than you can the office if you are lucky enough to catch anyone in the office. I will say that the facility appears to be cleaner than most I have been in and you don't have the usual nursing home smell knocking you down when you go in.

My mother recently was moved to North Pointe of Archdale, and the staff and residents there are some of the friendliest, most welcoming folks you could imagine. She has been treated so well over the last few days, and I can see how this facility really lives up to its mission to create a "family" atmosphere.
