Residents of Oak Hill always have a comfortable home surrounded by friends. We are a private, peaceful property located in Angier. Residents appreciate the short distance to local attractions, activities, and events. Angier Also has sufficient medical resources for seniors who have additional health needs.
Our community is dedicated to providing our residents compassion and kindness. We are on a mission to enrich the lives who live and work with us. My Mom (Mary McMinis) has been here for 16 months now and I wish she didn't have to be here but so far Everybody has been Awesome. Super Friendly Staff and Nurses. Mom seems to be Happy.

Oak Hill is the most beautiful, clean, well-organized, and well-staffed Assisted Living that you can choose for the care of your loved one! I AM SERIOUS! And, assisted living is more of a fit for your loved one than most of us know about. If your loved one is mobility challenged, maybe wheel chair bound, that does not mean they can not be accepted by assisted living care … who knew? Jessie McCormick is the best, most helpful person you can talk with about this difficult process. She is very friendly and talks with you on such a personal level and in a professional manner. Jessie will not slack up until the job is totally done! You really need to take a look at this place, take the tour, and let Jessie explain how the entire process works. Oak Hill was even MORE AFFORDABLE than the worst nursing care place in the area! (That is a horror story for another day! AFTER our Mom is actually move to Oak Hill next week!) Thank God for the friends who referred us to Oak Hill! Oak Hill is FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED. I cant tell you how much positive difference that makes in your search for a long term care facility! In our search, Oak Hill was also one of the only places OPEN with perfect Covid precautions … so we could go inside and actually take a look … they are also OPEN with precautions so that families can actually visit with their loved ones!!!! UPDATE: Our Mom has been at Oak Hill for only 4 days, but the difference in every aspect of her new beautiful, clean surroundings and having a staff of genuinely caring caregivers has already improved her spirits so much! Every staff person greets us as guests with a smile, and the staff directly dealing with our mother makes sure that they introduce themselves and they talk with us like friends-family. They respond to every call and need. OAK HILL IS A TRUE GEM!

My mother and I had lunch in the beautiful great room yesterday. We both said that we felt as if we were in a mountain resort. This facility is always so clean and inviting. I always look forward to seeing the friendly staff. They are like extended family. Thank you Oak Hill! It is wonderful to be back inside!

My grandmother has lived at Oak Hill for a few years now. Though this past year has been hard, I am so appreciative of the precautions that Oak Hill has taken to ensure her safety and well-being during the pandemic. My Grandmother has been treated with care, love, and attention and has now been fully vaccinated. I am so grateful for Oak Hill and their staff.

Oak Hill is privately owned which enables them to be creative and adequately address the individual needs of the residents. They comply with all government requirements; however, there are no arbitrary rules and regulations handed down by a disconnected corporate office. Management and staff take a personal interest in each and every patient. My sister lives at Oak Hill and I was concerned when COVID hit and she could have no visitors. She assured me that she has lots of friends there and she sees them every day. Such is the atmosphere at Oak Hill Assisted Living Community.

My Mother,Dorothy Hamilton made Oak Hill her home for 2 years before she passed away.They were very good to her and she loved the people there very much and I always felt that they loved her and she did too.She loved playing bingo,Angelina painting her nails and the music entertainment they had.I thank you all for loving her.
