A lovely home that is now a beautiful residence for seniors. It is manned by a caring staff. Activities are planned for them by manager Pat S. I have had the opportunity to visit with residents and join them for several of their art nights with Alica Pendleton.

I had never been inside Lonicera Hall until my dear friend and neighbour Allie Young moved there to live. The first time i walked in the front door to visit, i felt the warmth and charm of this grande house. I met the lovely staff, who took me on a tour, and showed me all the comforts of feeling at home in a new home. I was most impressed with the cleanliness, the smiles that greeted me (and they were real), the staff that had various duties to run the house, etc. I had my first meal with Allie in her new home. The food was delicious and let me say....over the years Allie was there, i managed to taste quite a few. The house is exceptionally organized 24, 7. Lonicera Hall dedicates itself to each and every resident. There is much entertainment every week, there are musicians, singers, bands every week that drop by.....and it didnt take Allie long to become known to everyone as a gal that loved to dance. 45s, Bridge, painting classes.....lots to be a part of. Lets not forget the staff that always have time to chat with every resident. I dropped by one day to visit Allie and found the house electrician kneeling on the floor fixing something and him and Allie were having the greatest chat about farming. The staff get to know you personally, and your interests. My favourite spots include the swings on the front deck, the largeness of the living rooms, tons of comfortable furniture.....and yet you have the comfort and privacy of your own room if you choose. I have heard complaints of some of the rooms being small, but for me that overrides the vastness of everything else you have. This whole house is there just for you to explore, find your favourite chair or corner, relax and read, look out the very large windows and enjoy this lovely atmosphere in your new home. My special thanks to all the staff that interacted with Allie. Thankyou to the girls in the kitchen that always brought us tea and cookies when we sat in our corner comfy chairs by the window. Thank you to Lonicera Hall for welcoming my friend Allie, making her feel at home, as she became another family member in your grande house. The years she shared with you all were very special. Lonicera Hall is a special place; warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed seeing this beautiful building at the open house. The staff are lovely and everyone seems really happy.100% I would live here when I retire!
