The Springs Living is a by far one of the best assisted care facilities in the Flathead valley. My dad has been there for over a year and the staff treats him like family. They are always helpful, friendly, and supportive. The care he gets there is top notch. The only reason I give 4-stars instead of 5 are the costs, which are much higher than median costs for assisted care facilities. The costs are even still higher there than for other luxury assisted care facilities nationally and locally. Not a big surprise being located in Whitefish where the median home cost is over $100,000 more than the national average.

I have been working at The Springs for 6 weeks and I am so happy with my career decision. The staff is friendly and caring. The dining experience is like a fabulous restaurant in downtown Whitefish. The building décor is like a mountain lodge. The fun daily activities last week included a trip to Glacier National Park, Floral Workshop, Tai Chi and Pinochle! There is something always happening. My favorite spot in the community is our living room. Residents can sit next to the fire place and enjoy having a cup of coffee and a fresh baked Danish, while catching up with the daily news or finding a piece at the puzzle table. The residents are happy and its so wonderful watching how we make a daily difference in their life.
