I have returned to work at Summerfield and have found wonderful changes throughout the community. Our memory care has loving staff who truly care about the people there. Our residents are happy and active! Residents are taken out for scenic drives and occasional lunch outings. The apartments are clean and well maintained. The main living area has undergone some positive changes as well. Resident art hangs throughout our comfortable and safe areas.

The best place I have ever worked at. The management team is amazing. Would definitely recommend/ refer any family member or friend to work/live here. They have gorgeous views. They have cows, horses, and a catfish pond to fish in. If I could do 100 stars on here I would.

Wow!! I have never been to an assisted living that is full of so many happy residents and staff! This is the number one facility on the coast if you ask me. The residents of Summerfield will also tell you the same! It offers more than any other place could ever!

Summerfield memory care unit was good for about a year. They have gone downhill in the last 3 months. They have cut Staffing and cut out housekeeping and have raised the rent. They have 2 techs 1 RN for 18 residents or patients who need to be watched closely. The memory care unit needs housekeeping more than anyone, should not rely on family to do it when we are paying over 5k a month. The staff is outstanding and I love them all but are so understaffed. Management needs to step up and do something. It breaks my heart to write this review because at one time I would of given them 10 stars.

We helped our father move into Summerfield a couple of weeks ago and he LOVES it there! During our visit, the staff and residents made us feel like family right away. We were amazed at the beautiful interior and exterior of the location. The quality of activities available for residents was impressive. We joined the residents for lunch in the dining room and were offered a nice variety of menu options, including dessert! The food was delicious and portions were impressive.

This community is gorgeous! The atmosphere here is very warm and welcoming. You always see the residents with smiles on their faces and engaged in fun activities through out the day. The staff is friendly, the food served here is top of the line, and grounds are second to none. Highly recommended for your loved one.

This community is amazing- all the comforts of home with care if you need it - also friendly residents who make all feel welcome. The community even has a barn with animals and a lake which makes you feel as if you are living at the farm!

I've been in Senior Living for a long time. Summerfield Gulfport is the flagship for SL on the MS Gulf Coast. The culture is amazing. The green space is amazing with paved walking tracks around a beautiful barn and farm. The residents are the happiest I've ever seen! I've never been prouder to be part of a work family than I am now.

Summerfield of Gulfport is such a wonderful community. The grounds are beautiful. There's outdoor and indoor activities like no other senior living center. The residents are happy as evidenced as you walk through the halls filled with laughter. There's just a feeling of warmth as you enter. I can't say enough wonderful things about Summerfield. My parents moved in on day one and I can truly say that all the staff are caring and hardworking. The facilities are exceptional and beautiful. And they went above and beyond when my mother went on hospice and passed away.

When you surrounded yourself with peoples who truly care about residents and love to be here, it sets a truly wonderful environment. Everyone who lives here and works here are the friendliest I have ever seen! The building and property are absolutely gorgeous, but it's the people who make it exceptional! Summerfield is recognized as a 5 star senior living facility in Louisiana, Now they are bringing their expertise to the Gulf Coast with programs for a more country setting with many outdoor activities and programs. The amenities, grounds, caliber of health care services offered are very impressive and cater to a healthy lifestyle for seniors. I know it will be a leader in senior residential living in the area.
