I cannot say enough good things about Dunbar Village. My mother and her husband are both in long term care here. She is always talking about how great the food is and how nice everyone is. Physical therapists have her stronger and able to walk with some assistance. The entire staff from administration to care givers are wonderful caring people.

My 90 year old dad was in this facility for 3 weeks of rehab following a fall and hospital stay. To say this place is awesome is not enough. The staff, Bonnie, Kayla, Leah, Whitney, Tammy, Christina, Vic, Matt, Pat, Jake, and many more were absolutely incredible. They treated my dad with respect and made sure he was taken care of. Everyone always had time to listen to one of the many stories he has. The facility is very clean, there is always someone cleaning. We absolutely loved the private room. My dad was in a rehab facility that was two to a room and it was awful. Activities - my dad enjoyed playing bingo and listening to a service on Sunday. There is also movie days which he didn't attend but he loved his sugar-free root beer float!! Dunbar - you rock!

Dunbar Village is excellent. They have the most caring, compassionate, competent staff from administration to Social Services, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Dietary, Patient Care Techs, environmental services. Every staff member cares & goes above and beyond! Our Mother & us get the best we could ever ask for. They give all of their residents respect & very compassionate care! My father was admitted to Dunbar Village in April for rehab, but was soon thereafter was moved to long-term care due to having Alzheimer's and cancer, and his need for additional around-the-clock care. Sadly, he passed away this month, but the care that he received during his stay at Dunbar was phenomenal. He frequently talked about the tranquility of the facility and how much he loved being there. It was very evident during my visits with him how great the staff is. Everyone treated him and the other guests with such compassion and love -- it truly seemed like a "village," if not a family. In his final days, I witnessed how much the entire staff respected his dignity and self-worth and went out of their way to ensure he was as comfortable as possible. I will never forget the day he passed. As the funeral home transferred him out the facility, the nurses, housekeeping, administrators, and other staff lined up to pay tribute to him, many with tears in their eyes. One staff even sang "Amazing Grace" while others shared with my family memorable stories of him during his stay. It's never easy to say goodbye to a loved one, but knowing that my father had been in such good hands in his final months of life was so comforting. I'll forever be grateful to the Dunbar Village family -- thank you all for everything you did for my father and continue to do for our community.

My father was a patient at Dunbar Village on two separate occasions. The kindness and compassion of the staff was wonderful. The clinical care by the nursing staff, nurse practitioner, MD and therapy team was top notch. If our family ever needs skilled nursing, rehab or long term care again Dunbar Village will be our first choice of facilities.

My mother suffered from a stroke this past year, which left her mobility extremely limited. The rehabilitation team at Dunbar Village has done a fantastic job of helping my mother achieve positive results with her rehab. I am happy to report that my mother is able to walk again with the assistance of a walker, and she continues to improve week-after-week. Additonally, my mother genuinely looks forward to her rehab sessions and enjoys spending time working with Dunbar Village's excellent rehab team.

Our family has depended on Dunbar Village more than a few times to rehabilitate and help heal the loved ones in our family. Now that we have a loved one that is resident of Dunbar, we cannot be more pleased with the care and therapy that they are receiving. Anytime we have had questions or concerns the entire staff, from the administrator, nurses, physical therapy staff have always been available to listen and help us to understand and resolve any concerns we had. During the pandemic, it was extremely hard not visiting with our family. The staff at Dunbar went above and beyond to keep the residents active with "socials" and special events just for them, the entire staff became family to the residents and to us. They were our connection to our loved ones. With all honesty, I cannot THANK EVERYONE at Dunbar Village enough for EVERYTHING they have done for our loved one and for us.

The love and devotion showed to my brother at this facility was amazing. The staff, Noah, Rachel, Ellen, Noanie, Lucrecia, Aja, Bernette, Jennifer was first class! There were rough times, but the staff worked around the clock for our brother. The day shift, the night shift were always warm and loving. In his last days they were beyond accommodating. Helping, advising in every way possible. The CNA's, nurses, kitchen staff were all amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You will forever be a part of our extended family. The animals too, Diamond, Shasta & mostly Rascal the cat.
