Had a wonderful tour. Beautiful place and setting. We were, however, set back at the size of apartments and the minimal kitchen (teeny cheap oven/range) and very small bedroom. No seat in shower and no cabinet space in bathroom. If only the apartment matched the rest of the place! But everyone was very nice and friendly. Kimberly was very helpful.

On our tour, everyone was incredibly friendly and the happy energy here really impressed me. And everyone on staff was very knowledgeable, especially Emily C, who made sure we toured everything and who answered all of our questions. Just a great experience.

Our visit was wonderful as always. Today's visit we had reserved the private dining room for my grandmother's birthday lunch. There were 10 of us, there was plenty of room it was very comfortable. And the wait staff are always so great and helpful. We are so very glad that our grandmother lives there and it is such a great place. Thank you to everyone at the Waterford and keep up the good work.

I have lived at the Waterford for 5 years. At 92 years it is a perfect place for me. Staff are supportive when needed. Many activities are planned: Exercise, book club, games, visiting entertainment guests, and educational activities. When we want alone time our apartments are great. I highly recommend this place for those needing some help to stay independent.

Beautiful place. Grounds are well kept. Lots of activities are provided for the residence. Restaurant style food and dining. Washers and dryers available for residents. Rides on the shuttle bus, a beautiful lobby and library. Very clean and friendly staff!

Waterford overall is a great place. Mom has a apartment that is a perfect size for her and her dog. I so appreciate that the residents can have a pet, which is good. Those pets are like their best friend. There are activities for the residents. Different performers come in and entertain the residents. The food has gotten better since she has been at Waterford. I realize that you can't please everyone, but overall the current cooks are getting better reviews. It always looks and smells so clean and fresh. The staff are friendly. The only negative comment I have is about the cost to stay at Waterford. Most of the residents are on fixed incomes. When each year the rent increases it makes it difficult to almost impossible for some residents to afford to stay. I realize the costs are high for everyone these days, but these senior citizens who pay faithfully each month should be given a break. Not everything in life should be about the almighty dollar. I do want to mention that Waterford is one of the more affordable independent living facilities in Springfield Missouri. Overall I am pleased that my precious mother is staying in a good place.

Update: my mom has now lived here 5 years. We couldn’t be happier with the administration and staff. They are constantly coming up with new programs to keep residents out of their apartments and engaged with each other. They keep finding staff that seem to really enjoy interacting with residents .. from the dining staff to house cleaners to transportation providers and front desk. I live several states away - and am so comforted to know that mom is at home in a place of this caliber. My Mom and Uncle have lived here for four years. While no place is perfect - I am so grateful they are at Waterford. The joyful attitude of the activities that fill the calendar is worth so much. The staff is caring and the administration is efficient. The place is always clean and updated. We are very happy to have found Waterford.

This place is wonderful! It is very welcoming, from the lovely entrance way leading into the dining area, and throughout the facility. It’s bright and clean and full of lovely people. I’m so happy my family member was able to find such a place. Now we don’t have to worry about her being by herself and look forward to her making many friends. We will be stopping by frequently to visit and enjoy activities with our loved one.

I was concerned and feeling guilty about having to place my mom somewhere, but i knew she needed more care than i could give her. I was failing, she deserved more. The Waterford was one of the first places i looked at seriously. It is an amazing place. The residents and staff are very wonderful. They have all welcomed my mom with open arms. Having activities and constant socialization has already made a positive change in her memory and hyperfixation issues. She loved it immediately. After a few weeks there, she is so happy. I dont feel guilty about leaving her there and she enjoys her days. The staff checks on her when she isnt out socializing a lot, and she feels very special there. What a godsend for our family.

We moved my MIL into The Waterford at Ironbridge last month. This place is absolutely amazing! The staff are so wonderful, very involved with the residents. The offer a wide variety of activities on a daily basis. The facility is up to date, clean and smells wonderful. The food is amazing, they welcome family to join their loved ones for meals. They do a candlelight dinner once a month for their residents, you get dressed up and it feel like you are in a fancy hotel. This is a picture of candlelight dinner from this month. This is a residential place for independent and assisted living for seniors. As soon as you walk in the door you feel at home. It is very clean, and well taken care of. And the employees are very helpful and friendly. There is ano actual Chef and the food is great! It's a place I would be proud for my Mother to live in.

The Waterford at IronBridge is the best of the best!! The staff is well trained and qualified to take care of their residence. The building is well-kept. The food is delicious while meeting the standards of a balanced meal. The service in the dining room is 5 star all the way! The activity calendar is always full keeping the residents fully entertained and created a great social environment for those who want to participate. This place has it all!

Nice clean facility and friendly staff. The room cleaning service is hit and miss. The food in the dining room is mediocre at best, which is very disappointing considering they have a chef on staff, not to mention the premium cost of living at this facility.
