We used The Gardens for respite care for my loved one. I found the staff very helpful and kind in this process. If I have need of longer term care I definitely will be contacting them. Special thanks to Brent.

My MIL moved in to The Gardens Assisted Living two months ago. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience. From the initial tour to move in, the staff was fantastic. My MIL has dementia and struggles with anxiety so we weren’t sure how she would react to the change. Her recent comments sums up her perspective. She said I have such fun days that sometimes I can’t wait to go to bed so I can wake up and do it all again. Thank you for taking such great care of my sweet MIL.

We were able to place our friend in the Gardens Memory Care Unit. From day one we were impressed with the level of care and service he received. Staff goes above and beyond to care for residents in a compassionate and positive way. Our friend bonded with his care team and enjoyed visiting with staff. Residents bring in their own furnishings and staff is provided for housekeeping and laundry services. We visited often through the week and found the facility and friend’s room to always be clean and well cared for. Management had an open-door policy and was available to help with questions and personal concerns as they arouse. When hospice needed to be called in the management and staff worked well with the hospice team in providing support and care needed during this difficult time. The hospice nurse commented that when she has to provide services at a facility like the Gardens, she always has an eye out to see what kind of care level is provided. She complimented the Garden’s staff on their care, compassion, and understanding in helping to care for their residents.

My mom stayed at the Gardens for almost four years. In that time I usually visited every other day and I think it is a wonderful place. The staff are so caring and very thoughtful. I just love them! My mom was in the assisted living at first and, as her dementia advanced, we moved her to memory care. During one of the hardest times in my life, watching my sweet mother steadily decline, the caring staff were there not only for my mom, but also for me and my sisters. They are like family and I'm eternally grateful for them.

Review of The Gardens Memory Care Parent with a diagnosis of Dementia of Alzheimer’s type was there just under 6 months when they requested we find another facility. This was due to increased falls and cognitive decline resulting in mobility issues. We were informed the facility was not staffed to provide walking assistance or wheelchair transfers. We were advised to apply to skilled nursing facilities, but several rejected our request since there are no health issues other than dementia that require skilled care. Administration promised to help find a new facility. However, it became apparent that their help was only sending out more referrals to other skilled nursing facilities with no regard to ratings or location. During this process, parent was suddenly moved to a different room with no prior notice. We expressed concerns that this was not in the best interest since we would be relocating to another facility soon. Our concerns were dismissed and the move occurred in less than an hour! This was a direct violation of patient rights of having a written notice before changing rooms or roommates. On the positive side, the CMTs and aides were extremely kind and attentive. These providers were expected to care for residents’ needs, dispense medicines, unlock door for visitors, take phone calls, plate food that was sent from the Assisted Living side, serve meals, and clean up. Often there were only 2 people on the floor to do all of these tasks. Needless to say, there were times meals were late due to lack of help! Bottom line: This is Level 1 Memory Care, so as disease advances, they are not equipped to handle the decline. Administration talks a good talk, but it pretty much ends there. While we recognize this is a business, we believe better communication and understanding toward patient families are necessary. The staff members who care for residents are compassionate and positive. They bond with residents, and it is apparent they truly care about them. Staff deserves a 5-star rating, but the overall facility rating is lower due to administrative decisions.

Faith based community and every one is so friendly and helpful. There is always something to do and they have several Bible studies and lots of music from Happy hour to just singing praise and worship. It feels like home and all the staff and residents feel like family.

I enjoyed lunch at The Gardens with a friend this week. The Steak had come right off of the grill and was cooked to my specifications. The food is SO good. It is like having your own personal chef!

Moved in May 2022. Overall it met the need. Medication errors began soon after. Mom moved in for anti-coagulation management, but this type of medication administration was not properly managed. The PCP was just plain mad at the lack of professionalism and competence. We moved out later.

I worried at first because it wasn’t the fanciest place.

Excellent people to work with, kind and so understanding! Did 4 stars because My Dad needed skilled nursing so we weren't able to place him here but they are my next pick for Assisted Living! So clean and the atmosphere is bright and welcoming, the residents were social & happy! Very impressed! Bailey Simpson has been such a Blessing to work with to navegate how it all works with housing, etc., 5 stars for her!

We placed my mother here almost a year ago. We have found the staff to be very helpful and caring. Jessica is extremely good to my mother and is always professional with a great sense of humor. We are happy with the laundry services and the cleaning staff. My mother does grumble about the food, but I would say it’s comparable to other Assisted Living facilities. The dining room staff are very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and they frequently make improvements to keep the appearance up to date. August, 2022 they installed new flooring in the dining room. They have Bingo and other activities that residents can participate in if they choose to do so. My mother mainly stays in her little apartment. The staff are really good to stop in and visit with her frequently. I visited several Assisted Living facilities before deciding on The Gardens. It’s not perfect but seems to be meeting my mother’s needs at this point in her life.

HIPAA violation of leaving confidential patient info open on computer screens in hallways. Also, super sticky gross floor in dining area.reminds me of a bathroom where someone peed all over the floor but was not cleaned up.

Just moved my parent there, they love it. Some many amenities.
