Denine is the best!! She took her time explaining everything to me and my husband. We toured the whole facility and was able to look at a couple different rooms. She gave us her personal cell number and has been very communicative and helpful!

I'm the pastor of CrossRoads, a new church in Rolla. I've been volunteering at Oak Pointe for over a year, coming in weekly to lead a Bible study chapel service. Each person in this world is precious and of great worth. Yet, sometimes we overlook the most vulnerable and marginalized. The elderly, especially those in assisted living and nursing homes, are often forgotten. This is so tragic because they are wonderful people who need our care and who, in turn, can teach us so much. As a follower of Jesus, I think we can learn from everyone when we listen to their stories, walk with them without judgment, and share God's love together. I look forward to my time with the residents of Oak Pointe each week. Everyone greets me with a smile. My friends there gather for chapel when they could be doing many other things. If I have to miss, they are disappointed and eager for my return. They listen so intently as we walk through the psalms together each week. I think I leave more encouraged than they do. Jennifer Rackers and the rest of the staff at Oak Pointe are so kind, encouraging and supportive. They are a joy to work with. If you are available to volunteer, please consider joining the team at Oak Pointe. You will be enriched by these great people.

My mother has been at Oak Pointe since 8, 6, 2018. She was the first of 4 there upon opening. What a major decision it was to make the move into assisted living. I know we made the right one! There have been many great caregivers and advocates for my mom since her tenure however, Mariah K. continues to go above and beyond since her initial tenure there. When COVID started I was concerned that mom not having her normal doctor visits would affect her. Mariah immediately acted and setup virtual visits with moms dementia doctor. She continues to help get her out of her room and she FaceTimes me to help me deliver that message to my mom, Maria. I am missing my mom badly-her hugs and kisses but I am fortunate that shes there with caring people who go above and beyond. Thank you Mariah K!!

My mother has lived at Oak Pointe since November of 2018. They have worked closely with myself and her to allow her to continue to live independently. She has had her companion dog Casey since the day she arrived. The staff have allowed us to do a birthday party for her great granddaughter at Oak Pointe. I have spent several days and nights there and the staff have always treated us with respect. During the Covid-19 pandemic, administration has stepped up and kept the residents safe. Oak Pointe has done well keeping me informed of my mothers condition. They have a caring staff and I can not say enough about them. The place is always clean and the food is quite good. I used to eat with my mother several times a week and was never disappointed with the quality of food. I recommend Oak Pointe for those who do not need a nursing home but need help with medications and assistance with daily needs.

The day came when it was necessary to find a safe place for Mom to live. We visited Oak Pointe of Rolla and instantly felt this was a special place. The entire staff, facilities, attention to detail for Moms comfort, care and well-being...as we cared for...was looked after. She had her own spacious one-bedroom apartment, three meals a day in a dining room, daily activities she enjoyed like her favorite bingo, games, puzzles, crafts & movies with popcorn. Every Sunday was church and a Bible study during the week was available, which she looked forward to. In addition, special activities like Elvis is in the building, pianist on the baby grand, dancing & singing children. We were able to visit Mom anytime, take her shopping or to a restaurant, which she also loved. One of the highlights was she was allowed to bring her companion kitty cat Daisha. Mom always insisted she wasnt going anywhere unless Daisha came also. I highly recommend Oak Pointe of Rolla for senior, assisted or Memory Care living. I thank you again, Oak Pointe of Rolla for taking great care of Mom.

I just first visited Oak Pointe on Labor Day and was very impressed, to say the least.... I have a very good friend there and she hadnt ever been in an assisted living area before, but she also mentioned that they took very good care of her... and I was pleased by what I saw and how nice and clean everything was... She has a very nice room and privacy plus she also mentioned that the food was excellent...so that is very important to us older folk... I pray she remains happy there...
