Wellington Senior Living is a lovely facility, and the staff is very friendly and professional.

A dear friend of mine had a bad experience living in another local senior living facility. So, last year she moved into Wellington, and, she absolutely loves it! Her apartment is spacious and luxurious. She has a very nice washer/dryer set in her apartment, no more sharing old machines with dozens of other people. She loves the location of the modern facility, it’s close to everything she needs and more. Wellington has lots of activities to keep her and the many friends she has made there busy. The meals, oh my goodness! I have eaten with her in the dining room a couple of times, it’s like going to a fancy restaurant everyday! I have not seen advertising stating that Wellington is a faith based facility, but from what she tells me, and from what I have seen, the employees and management treat all the residents like family..with respect, love, care and dignity. Wellington has been such a blessing to her. She’s happy to be there, and I’m happy for her!

I would like to say that the Wellington is an excellent facility. From the front desk to direct care they are exceptional. The memory care staff is super caring and look well after the residents. One particular person Colleen Paige was very welcoming and helpful to navigating the building and assisting me. I highly recommend the Wellington!

I would like to give a shout out to the Executive Director, Joanna Wesley. Due to her do diligence, we have been able to make so many positive changes to the Wellington and she truly does have the best interest of her staff and residents at heart. We have an amazing team that care about the well being of each resident. I cant wait to see what the future holds here at the Wellington and what our staff are capable of.

I went there to work through an agency & I just have to say HOW AMAZED I WAS!!! Colleen Paige in Memory Care is so AMAZING she is with the residents there. She is so good with the residents and I see how much the residents LOVE her. I also need to give a shout out to Callie, she works in the kitchen part & how she is with them as well. I WOULD DEFINITELY SEND MY PARENTS THERE. Truly impressed with the care & love the residents there.

I can't thank Camellia and Parinda enough for their diligent work making our Gran a part of this neighborhood. Watching someone suffer from the effects of dementia is heart breaking. Knowing that Granny is being cared for by the Memory Unit staff at The Wellington is extremely reassuring. Thankful for the care she gets and the care and concern they show for Gran. Camellia and Parinda do a great job...so does Ro! And if there is any concerns the staff, and the facility director, Joanna, are there to help. Wouldn't wish this disease on anyone, but thankful Gran has a community she can thrive in.

While I would agree that there are some billing issues/ overall bumps to work out- I can tell you that the Staff have been amazing with my father in Memory Care. As I’m 2000 miles away, I really rely on the public and private Facebook groups that Camillia manages to follow along with what my Pops is up to. She engages him, gets him out of his rut and helps him with tasks that help him to feel as though he’s contributing. It’s beautiful to watch. I’ve also heard about the especially kind care he receives from Morgan and Pranda which I appreciate so much. Despite the challenges on the administrative side ( which I’m sure will be worked out), the staff bumps this up a star for me.

Memory care unit is not great with communication and surprise billing every month for extra services and no communication before the bill drops. It's already a difficult time for the family moving our loved one but the lack of detail makes it much harder. I hope it gets better but after 90 days in its still a struggle.
