I want to start out by saying Kim Shumate was so helpful and caring. She definitely takes a lot of pride in her job and in the residents. This facility is so clean and treats the residents with love and respect. The most important thing is that I can have peace of mind knowing how much our mom is cared for. I also see the staff interacting with the residents and that is very important to me. They also have lots of activities for the residents to do. If you are looking for a place for a loved one I would definitely check this place out!!

Overall, mom is happy at Cedarhurst. We are still ironing out a few items with regard to her care and her bathing requirements.

The biggest issue is the prescription plan you must use or pay additional high monthly fee. The service they use is Med Express and they don't work with the insurance you may have.

Ive been at cedarhurst since 3 days after it opened last January when my health cost me to need to sell my home and be into it and assisted care I have been so pleased here the staff is wonderful they give me such care all the time concerned and care theyre always alert to your needs the kitchen and dining room staff provides us with wonderful meals as well as a lot of yummy goodies to have our activity director maintenance and office staff are also the same way just such a helpful group I just am so happy to be at Cedarhurst and thankful that there was the opportunity to be at a brand new building like this I certainly recommend it to anybody who is looking for a new place to be.
