I was in rehab after open heart surgery. I only got physical therapy twice, I couldn't get anyone to clean my wounds or give me a washcloth and towel to do it myself. The food was greasy and salty! My grandson made me some soup and when I asked for it, [name removed] told me it had a little salt in it but you couldn't taste it.. How would she know that? My grandson certainly didn't salt it. She wouldn't let me eat it so I had to eat the pork goulash. Amanda. Kay and May are awesome! The rest are there to party not care for the patients.

This place is the best if you have someone who needs physical therapy or long-term care send them here! my dad stayed here for two weeks. He said the food was fantastic and the staff was so respectful and friendly.

My Mother was given great care by everyone. Keller went above and beyond to help my mom in every way. She was very friendly and surprised me by remembering my name when ever She saw me. The staff was excellent. Would recommend the Cottages to anyone in need of rehab. The Physical Therapist was extremely helpful and caring when helping my mom. Thanks to the Staff for taking great care of my Mom.

Caring and professional staff. I love the clean, home like design. Very conducive to healing. Rehab staff, nurses, aids, doctor and housekeeping, everyone ... are fabulous. Shout out to Ella Cottage!

Day one of what we hope will be a 2-3 week visit for rehabilitation for my father and so far very pleased. The staff has been very welcoming and communicative and he said that so far the food is better than at the hospital he's actually enjoying his stay like it's a vacation! Very satisfied!

My aunt is there right now. This place has been really good for her. She's getting the care she needs. She was in another rehab center a few years ago that was awful so we are so happy we found Cottage Lake which was referred by a friend who's mother had been there. The only issue she has is with the food she can't stop eating it so good

The Cottages are a state of the art facility, that have an approach to patient care.my best friends mother and father were both there multiple time to get them ready for home after hospital stays. The care was above and beyond, just the care, compassion, and love they received made a difficult time easier on her parents and the entire family. You know the minute you walk in to one of the multiple cottages it is not your normal nursing home, and to know that the workers are not being overwhelmed with 20 patients a shift, but just 4 or 5 , reinforces quality care. Both her parents raved of the stay, the care, activities, food, physical care/assistance and how being relaxed helped them go home quicker. I know if my mom needs a place to go, it is the only choice for us. Thank you to all the hard work by all the staff from the office to those that worked with the parents daily. You all go the extra mile.

Our experience with my mother at the Cottages was outstanding! Each member of her care team in the Ava cottage took wonderful care of her. Social Services and admissions were very helpful and provided weekly updates. The cottage was very nice and kept clean. I highly recommend this facility.

I would definitely recommend Cottages of Lake St. Louis Nursing & Rehab to anyone who is looking for compassionate, attentive, experienced, and professional workers. Everyone from the Director, the Admissions Dept., and CNAs were very hands on regarding my grandmother's care. Each time I visited she was well-groomed and her room was always clean. Prior to admitting her there, my grandmother's health was declining and she was always depressed, but after 5 years of being at the nursing facility her health has improved tremendously. The staff and management at this cutting-edge care facility are just amazing! It's obvious they truly care about the Elders that reside here. The cozy atmosphere of each 'cottage' makes it feel so homey and comfortable. One of the best's care facilities I've been in by far!
