The staff was VERY good. However, the administration assured us our family member would absolutely be able to remain as a Medicaid resident after private funds ran out. Some years later the funds were exhausted and we were told she had to leave WITHIN A WEEK because they had no room for her. We were NOT told an “emergency Medicaid bed” could and should have been declared. G’ma was effectively “kicked to the curb” by Manor Grove! Get EVERYTHING in writing if dealing with this company.

Both of my parents were in hospice at this facility. Having experienced other facilities in the area, Manor Grove far exceeded our expectations. The staff was wonderful and provided excellent care for my parents in their final days.

Manor Grove has been a huge blessing for our family. We researched a number of nursing homes and decided to send my wife's parents here. We're so glad we did. Manor Grove feels like a community where everyone who works there knows the residents and truly cares about them. My wife gets calls when something seems off with her parents - when they had a mild cough, or did not seem as happy as usual. We were amazed that they were on top of it, and let us know! Both my wife's parents have very challenging behaviors often and Manor Groves consistently works with them. They have incredible patience and are true professionals. We go visit them regularly, and you can tell they are really well taken care of. I hope we don't need a nursing home for a long time, but both my wife and I have said that if we ever need it, we would both want to be in a place like Manor Grove!

We had an elderly friend that we had to place in Manor Grove and then she was placed on hospice. All I can say is Manor Grove took excellent care of her the staff really cared about her and took wonderful physical care of her. Manor Grove may seem dated when you walk in the door but look past that the care they provide is stellar!

I deliver prescriptions to nursing homes and so I get to see behind the scenes in a lot of facilities. What impressed me about Manor Grove was seeing staff engaging with residents, treating them like truly cared for family, above what I have seen anywhere else. The residents seem happier and more alert. If I had to go into a nursing home, Manor Grove would be my choice.

I used to work in the dietary department about 10 years ago. Loved working here! All the nurses were great and it was always just a great environment to be in. Patients seemed to be happy overall. Great place.

Our Aunt lived here and did very well. Anytime we had an issue it was dealt with. She had some wonderful caregivers and some we still stay in touch with. I believe you have to stay involved in your loved ones care!

The staff are WONDERFUL!! I was greeted with a small gift basket from management. I never had to wait when I turned on my call light. I NEVER felt that I was a burden to the staff. Everyone was so considerate and helpful. I had a private room and the place was so clean! And I didnt have insurance other than Medicare. GREAT place. Cant recommend it highly enough.

Manor Grove is an outstanding facility. Over 110 years of senior care in a beautiful setting near downtown Kirkwood Missouri. Huge century trees abound overlooking water features, courtyards, patios and gardens. The staff offers truly personal care for your beloved family, you will be amazed.

I love this place! Love the management and the wonderful nursing staff. They treat each resident as if it was their own family member. I've known these people for over 20 years and I wouldn't ever consider any other residence to leave my parent. A tradition in Kirkwood for over a century and will be for another 100 years!!

Full disclosure, I don't know anyone who is a resident here I have been servicing them for about 15 years and can say that this facility is clean, well staffed, and well maintained. I would sleep well at night knowing that a loved was in their care should I ever be in that position.

Manor Grove provided the medical care and rehab services I needed to recuperate from a double femur fracture repair. The staff was top notch and I cannot say enough positive remarks to reflect the actual experience I had....i.e., staff came in just to see how I was doing even when they were assigned elsewhere; the progress I made showed on their faces as they watched me daily; they listened to my needs and helped me as best they could; Rehab Joan and Lesley ... WOW!; If you need a rehab center and are willing to work hard--Manor Grove is an excellent choice.

Having volunteered here for over five years, I feel comfortable saying that I think this is a very clean, caring and well-run facility. Seems every employee knows the name of every resident and never fails to say Hello and visit with them if time from duties permits. Place always smells good and this is HUGE with me as I have had relatives in homes that, esp on weekends, do not smell nice. I never fail to recommend Manor Grove to anyone that I know is looking into a Home for a loved one!

My Mother was there in the Rehab wing for 9 days recovering from Pneumonia. I visited 2 to 3 times a day. Every employee I saw was smiling and happy, I was greeted by multiple staff, nurses, employees on a daily basis. My Mom flourished under their care and I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs short or long term care. My Mom was treated with the utmost respect and was so impressed with how everyone knew her name, escorted her safely to rehab, fed her delicious meals and cared for her 24 hours a day. Thank You Manor Grove!
