I have to just come here and say, I absolutely do “love where I work”. It’s not everyday you can find a job that you genuinely want to go to, and enjoy doing. Myself and all the staff at Oxford love and care for our residents like they’re our own family members. We all look forward to seeing them every shift, and putting smiles on their faces. It’s so nice to be able to work in such a positive environment, where everyone is working towards the same goal everyday. Everyone is happy, excited, energetic and love what they do. And the residents love us just as much back. It’s easiest the most rewarding job I’ve had.

I recently took a tour of the Oxford Grand when I was looking for assisted living for my mom. Alayne, who works there, was wonderful! She provided so much helpful information and displayed such caring and compassion! I appreciate her dedicated focus on the residents and their families! By visiting, I felt empowered! I didn’t know what to expect, but after working with Alayne for a while, I understood what the next steps were and what my options for my mom were for her care. I especially appreciate that I didn't feel judged about my mom's situation or financial status. The concern was solely the quality of life that the Oxford Grand provides. I would highly recommend a tour of the Oxford Grand!

I cannot say enough good things about Alayne at Oxford Grand!!! It was so nice to hear such a warm and helpful voice on the other end of the phone, especially when those of us calling for information are likely experiencing a lot of stress already! Our family cannot afford private-pay, but Alayne did not make me feel less than and went above and beyond to provide some resources for me to look into. She even followed up with an email later that night with additional information she had forgotten to mention. I can tell she truly cares about memory care patients and their families. I hope wherever my grandmother goes has someone as supportive and compassionate as Alayne, Oxford is very lucky!

Oxford Grand was the perfect choice for our parents! My Mother loves it so much she doesnt even want to come stay a my house for a visit. Fortunately OG makes it inviting for families to visit. They keep Mom so busy with activities we had to get her an answering machine because shes out of her room so much. I could go on and on about the facility and the staff but you need to go check it out for yourself!!

The Oxford is a beautiful community! Amber, Teresa and staff are the best! They truly care for each and every resident as family. Everyone is always ready to help and go above and beyond with any situation. There is always something great going on at The Oxford plenty of activities to keep your loved ones involved. After visiting numerous places to find the best fit for my mom, we chose Oxford Grand, and it truly has been a great choice for her. At 90 she needs little assistance, and they have been wonderful in creating a routine for her that allows some independence, yet care and supervision. It was important to me that she was respected and honored in her transition from her own home. We have been very pleased in her care, and have had great communication from the staff on her well being. They have gone above protocol in the COVID isolation to do the best for their residents and for the families that miss their loved ones. Their creativity of activities and constant joy infiltrate the staff. We feel 18 months later that this has been our best choice. Highly recommend!

My dad has been there 17 months. The love care and concern he receives is wonderful. I trust them whole heartedly with my loved one. I can name the wonderful people who treat him with respect in his final yrs of life. Hardest thing I did was putting my dad here but he had done great

The Oxford Grand at Shoal Creek has helped our family tremendously. They have take such good care of my mom during some very difficult times for our family. They are doing the very best to keep all residents safe even if it means keeping us apart for sometime, in the long run I believe it is best. The staff totally understand the residents and families are going through very hard tough separation, and truly care and that helps me sleep at night. I recommend the Oxford Grand if you need a caring staff helping your loved ones. They truly care.

Just recently circumstances forced me to find an assisted care living facility for my 92 year old mom. After a brief search I happened to come upon the Oxford Grand at Shoal Creek. I spoke with a wonderful woman named Theresa who helped to guide me in my efforts. I was thankful that they had a vacancy and were able to take her in. Since then neither I nor she have been disappointed. The staff is on the ball, very helpful and accommodating. The meals are top notch. They take the safety and health of their residents seriously, as shown during this Covid-19 pandemic. There is a sense of family among the staff and residents, and I feel very secure in the knowledge that my mom is safe in their care.

My grandma had to move into the memory care unit, very unexpectedly after have minor surgery. The entire staff has helped not only my grandma adjust to her new home, they have helped our entire family! Always willing to answer questions, make phone calls for updates, and they work with us to make this Covid shutdown bearable for my daughters who miss their great-grandma too! Thank you for calming our fears and making the Oxford her new home.

My dad is very much enjoying The Oxford. He is doing wonderfully and the staff is so awesome! They all know him by name and he feels so at home! I couldnt ask for a better place. We looked at 9 Assisted Living environments and The Oxford and Amber Huser the Executive Director were clearly the best choice. We are so thankful for the loving, caring, friendly, staff who are fun and make life great! Great care and activities and and he loves being involved. Hes made a lot of friends and is very involved. I highly recommend them.... and very thankful!

Absolutely am so thrilled that we found the Oxford Grand for my parents. If you cant be at home, this is the next best home ! Amber, the ED is so passionate about her facility and mostly her residents, family. Theresa, the marketing director was my first contact, and had me sold over the phone. So much has happened to us a family lately, and ALL staff, directors, nursing staff, kitchen staff all are positively involved and do their jobs with genuine care, love and smiles. This loving family of caregivers made an extremely tough situation bearable, even if nothing more than a hug. The activities department does a wonderful job with fun daily gatherings to keep the residents engaged and happy! I cant say enough how blessed we are to call Oxford Grand at Shoal Creek our family and home!

The Oxford is like family and as such I know my mom is safe and well taken care of during this difficult time outside their walls. Even though I cant be with my mom right now, I can still FaceTime with her. I had a friend ask if I was okay with not being able to visit, and I said Im comforted in knowing Mom is fine even if I cant be there. I know shes with family and I rest in that. Thank you for taking care of her and by extension me at this time.

I love working here, we have great staff, and amazing residents. I love my job, and i love my residents even more. The best part about my job is when we do activities with the residents, i feel its a great time to learn about each resident. Everyday i learn a little more. The training they offer is on point and an eye opener. I have one of the greatest bosses ive ever had, and she makes working here enjoyable! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a loving, caring, happy, warm, and friendly community for mom,dad, yourself, or any loved one.

Mom continues to be very independent in her personal care and the folks at Oxford work tirelessly to create a stimulating, active environment for her to thrive in. The staff tries to be respectful of our families and welcomes us through formal plans & events but also encourages our casual visits as well.

Its hard to put your parents somewhere for others to care of them but Oxford Grand has been such a blessing and I feel my Dad is being cared and loved for with great dignity. He is not able to live alone because of Dementia, these people are wonderful at making him feel at home

Both of my parents were residents at Oxford Grand until they passed away earlier this year. Oxford Grand is a beautiful facility. It is clean, modern and inviting. The staff at Oxford, including Phoenix Hospice, are amazing. They are professional, thoughtful, loving, dedicated and compassionate. Numerous times the staff went above and beyond to care for my parents. Every time I visited I could see that all my parents needs were being lovingly attended to. I cannot imagine a better home for an aging parent who is no longer able to care for themselves.

I am one of the Home Health & Hospice Nurses with Phoenix that happily gets to be here and enjoy the staff & residents every day! I have experience in AL,MC & skilled & they do a great job here....They are a true team! I get to see the experiences the residents get to have and enjoy with each other. I see the hard working, caring staff that take their time and truly love doing what they do. They treat and love the residents like family! It means so much to me as a Nurse seeing the type of care given here...I love being involved in a community like Oxford Grand!
