I did a walk-in tour, looking for a place for my FIL, Audery was fantastic at answering all my questions and concerns and super sweet. The building was a cute homey environment, residents looked happy and clean, and they were playing bingo. NO smells of urine or stool. I will be in contact with Audrey.

My mom is in the Sunset Unit. The staff are much better since Amber has taken over. I feel like they are more attentive and care. Amber is amazing!! So thankful for her. The outside of the unit needs to be cleaned up. Flower gardens are full of weeds. Trash is around the building. This is an easy thing to take care of that makes the building look more out together and cared for.

I was upset when my Husbands billfold, glasses and clothes got misplaced but upon getting to know the staff, they have A LOT to deal with. Maybe there needs to be more of them to control it all or better pay. People in there are very sad and ill. It is hard to watch. Since my Husbands illness begin, my life has been a sequence of unfortunate issues, not part of this review but an observation.

I love visiting with Carmel hills the staff is wonderful and the people are very well cared for lots of games activities and interacting with one another staff visitors and Friends!!❤ I would truly recommend Carmel hills to family friends and the public!!!! I had a family member that stayed at Carmel hills a few years ago and I have to admit that the facility has been upgraded substantially! Also it looked like they were completely full staffed with plenty of people around to help care for anyone that needs it. The staff was friendly and courteous. And overall improvement!

Im handicapped and can not stand for any length of time. When we got there my wife dropped me off at the front door. There were no chairs to set in while I waited for my wife. The receptionist brought a chair around from behind the desk for me to set in and called for a wheelchair to take me back to the Sunset unit. The young lady who brought the wheelchair offered to push me back which was fantastic since my wife has back issues. When we got back to Sunset they arranged for a private place for us to visit with my mother-in-law. She had just spilled something on her blouse and they took her back and cleaned her up and changed her outfit before they brought her over. It was a great visit.

Any positive review is fake, look at other sites and you will find it to be a lie. Lost my husbands wallet, forgot to feed him, he was out of his mind on mind altering drugs and so are a couple of the staff

The team here has really made strides to improve the lives of their residents. Even through all this covid times they do all they can to keep their residents healthy and happy within the strict guidelines imposed by the state. Always happy to visit this facility.

The nursing people at carmel hills are an amazing gift. I have never encountered a bad experience interacting with them. I have spoken several times to my fathers nurse who was even willing to provide her personal number when I had any questions. Thank you for everything you do.

My mother has been at Carmel Hills for over 6 years. The nursing staff has been really helpful especially during this Covid times. We have been unable to go in to visit mother due to Covid restrictions, but the ADON has been very helpful in Video calling with my mother every week. They also call with any updates. I personally would recommend Carmel to anyone.

My dad had to stay here for a couple of weeks. The staff there was amazing with him! With covid going on I was still able to see and talk to him through his window and call to check on him whenever I wanted to. Thank you Carmel Hills!

I have been at Carmel for 3weeks now after my accident. Everyone has been very helpful and supportive everyday. The therapy team has been very wonderful and encouraging through this long journey. Hoping to get to leave in a few weeks time.

The staff try really hard to provide the best care for the residents they have. The management team work hard to be responsive to all concerns from patient and families. They strive to make even the smallest things count. Doing cook outs for the residents. The Director of Nursing has really gone above and beyond to keep residents and all parties informed of all changes. I encourage anyone to reach out with concerns and they will take care of them,

This is one of the best nursing homes in independence. My grandmother lives in the nursing home side and she is always happy every single day we go to visit her.

When my grandmother was at Carmel Hills she was very well taken care of by all the nursing staff. She loved the food and bonus bucks boutique. The staff were always very supportive, positive and encouraging during her rehabilitation stay.

My aunt and uncle lived at Carmel Hills in Independence for several years. They started in the long term care facility and thoroughly enjoyed their stay there. They had many of their favorite pieces of furniture surrounding them which made it feel like home. They really enjoyed the food and the friendly staff with whom they became friends with very soon. They moved eventually as their health declined to the memory care section of the facility as my aunts health declined. The staff was very accommodating as their health became more difficult to control. Thank you to Carmel Hills for making their last years so comfortable.

My grandma has been in assisted living at Redwood for a few months and SHE loves it and WE love it. We couldn't be happier with the arrangements. The medical staff have been wonderful and the service staff are exemplary. I'm disappointed by the number of haters I have seen post reviews here. I feel like some people just can't be pleased or happy with anything and live to tear others down...

My mother has been staying here for healing and rehab for several weeks. I am very pleased and she loves the people who care for her. They are very kind, caring and patient! They have bent over backward to get information for us and keep us informed of her progress. I have never smelled anything bad in this facility and it is always very clean. Her room is large and private and they clean it everyday. There are many activities for the residents, and the staff is always friendly. I am so happy that my mother is staying here! Carmel Hills is an excellent facility!
