Plus /1/2 . Staff has been very helpful, kind, & listened to our needs, Has it been perfect?.. no, but many times they are limited in what they can do. They are working w our Loved Ones, who may not be well & refusing care. As a Caregiver, myself, I/we try to keep encouraging them. God bless us All, as we walk this difficult Path.

I enjoyed my time here. For the most part the staff are very helpful and professional. They have the best living areas in the area for their residents. Each person gets their own small apartment. These all have a full bathroom and walk in shower. They are good about helping you get the things you need as long as it's not them doing everything for you. You are expected to talked care of yourself as much as possible. While each resident has different needs they try to meet as many of them as they can and make sure everyone is doing their best to get out of there. This is because St. Francois Manor is a Residential Care Facility, not a nursing home. There's a, for lack of a better word, nursing home on the same property all owned and operated by BJC Healthcare. This place did so many very much appreciated things for me until I left. Even though I was in a new place with no family or friends they made me feel at home, welcome, and safe there at St. Francois Manor. I really miss almost everyone there and would recommend this place to anyone in the Farmington area for their loved ones that need more care than they can provide. The worst part about it is if you want to go anywhere other than the gas station at the end of the road Eagle Mart, then you either have to pay a taxi, public transportation, ride a bike, or walk a decent little ways.

People have to realize this is not a 5 star restaurant, it's not The Ritz Hilton Hotel nor a hospital. It's a hard job to accommodate residents 24/7, and it's an even harder job with only a few of us.

I personally did not like the place it always has a pee smell odor and the AIDS don't seem to really care about the residents in my opinion however their apartment area is quite nice in the back of the hom
