The staff at Rock Island Village are very compassionate and really care about the residents. My mother is very happy there and I know she is in good hands. My sister and I are very picky and know they treat our mom like she was their mom. My mom had a shower, hair done , pedicure and manicure all in one day and they sent a picture of her and she was smiling. They are the best! The staff go above and beyond their job duties.

Visited with my aunt who resides there. It is very clean with comfortable living atmosphere. Desk help and nursing staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this assistant living place for anyone needing there services.

The staff at Rock Island Village have worked with our family to provide care in a unique situation. My mother in her nineties has cared for her son with disabilities for fifty years. When the need for support moved beyond my ability, we worked with an in home caregiver for as long as possible. Two years ago they moved into an apartment at Rock Island Village. The staff's support has allowed Mom to continue to care for her son. He's worked at the Sheltered Workshop for 25 years, and their support has allowed him to continue working. Hesitant about the move at first, Mom now tells everyone this was her idea.

My good friends mom stayed here. The staff was courteous, and I even got to try the food. It was good! Dont usually expect that from a senior living place. I would highly recommend this place.

I had a friend residing here and visited a few times. The facility was clean, the grounds were well kept, and the staff were kind. They even let me bring my dog in to visit! Once I attend a trick-or-treating event for Halloween; the residents seemed to really enjoy seeing the community members bring their little ones in all dressed up. The staff even got into the fun by dressing up. The facility is well decorated, my husband has eaten there and loved the food, and the units are very nice.

About a year ago, I spent a lot of time researching various assisted living facilities for my 90 year old mother so when the time came for her to move out of her house (where she lived independently) we knew where to go. We agreed Rock Island would be the place. Clean, nice living space, and very friendly staff. In January, my mother was hospitalized and we agreed that the time had come for her to move to Rock Island. We selected the room, moved furniture, and got the room move in ready. Two days before she was to be released from the hospital, she took a turn for the worse and died a week later. Rock Island, Linda could not have been more understanding and supportive. We moved the furniture out and received a full refund. Truly a professional and supportive response in a very difficult time. THANKS!

I will never forget the day that I had the sign that it was time to put my loved one in a memory care facility. The first place I went to, I cried in the parking lot knowing that I was going to change the course of my loved ones life forever. That tour was hard and I was not satisfied with the ratio of staff to residents, prices, extra charges ect. Nothing was right....UNTILL I was given a tour by sweet Linda at Rock Island Village. The moment I walked into the MC at RIV, it was just what I was looking for. Private rooms, private bath and a caring loving staff led by Jamie. My LO is happy, cared for and I have peace of mind that my LO is in the best hands.

My Mother in law has been very happy at Rock Island Village. The food is good and there are activities everyday. The staff check on her several times a day and it is a relief knowing that she is safe and well cared for every day.

This facility is neat and attentive to both the residents needs and staffs. They treat everyone like family from the time you walk in and are very involved in the community. If you are looking for a nice place for your loved ones to stay at I highly recommend rock island village!

As a past employee, this was one of the best jobs I had. The management was nice, staff was friendly and worked as a team to get stuff done, and the residents were friendly and always willing to listen and talk about there day with you!. If I could, this would be a job I would love to do again! The people who are rating this a bad place obviously were the type of employees you wouldnt hire even for fast food I imagine.

I looked all over southwest Missouri looking for affordable level II assisted living for my mom with mid stage Alzheimers. I am so happy to have found Rock Island Village. The staff is caring, loving and even doting at times... and the FOOD is awesome! Couldnt be happier to have my mom here.
