My Mom has lived here for 3 years. She moved in the year after it opened. The staff is still awesome however the quality of the food has taken a high dive off into meh’ pond. They’re making cutbacks that are affecting its merit. The facility is clean and most of the residents are friendly.

As I write this, I struggle to find the words to describe how wonderful Avalon is. My grandmother lived here for a few years”I was her caretaker and would visit her every day. As I did, I grew to love Avalon more and more. She struggled to take care of herself, and when she was unable to, when I was unable to, Avalon stepped in. It was not their role, but it did not matter”Avalon cared. It’s a community that fosters kindness and inclusion. I know my grandmother loved it as well, she loved the employees, the facility, and the other residents. Avalon was a wonderful and joyful experience for her and the rest of the family as well.

My mom lives here, and she loves it. She has many friends and enjoys all the activities the facility offers. She also loves the food! This facility is one of the most reasonably priced in the greater St. Louis area.

This place is absolutely incredible! As a Homecare PT, I’ve been in a lot of senior, independent living facilities and this one is head and shoulders above any of them! The staff is all friendly and welcoming. The residents are too! There are activities almost every day, which engage the residents; Happy hours, parties, live music, and crafts! The food is delicious but the staff is what sets this place apart. The ownership/management does a fantastic job of vetting exceptional employees. When my dad moved in here, everyone was so welcoming. He has made new friends for this part of his life journey. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Not enough for seniors to participate in. Need to be encouraged to go outside and move around, go for a walk. A wee dog park that is safe. Better balanced meals

I am looking to move into an independent living community and this one was very nice. In the end there were two that when pros and cons were considered, were just about equal and this one came in second considering the other night was very close to where my son and his family live.

Wonderful environment with lovely residents! The food is out of this world! I just finished a meal consisting of short ribs, fresh green beans, mashed potatoes, blueberry & strawberry salad with goat cheese, cauliflower soup, and a generous piece of triple layer chocolate cake for dessert. Pricing is very reasonable for guests.

My mother stays at Avalon Park and she loves it. When I visit her the atmosphere is great. Staff is friendly, food is good and they have all the activities that my mother enjoys. We didn’t really know how she was going to adapt to leaving her home but she said she has made some good friends and is very happy with where she is. I’m so glad we found Avalon Park!

Avalon Park is truly and exceptional independent living facility. The staff is attentive, kind, and caring. The residents and staff have become family. Avalon feels like home because of this great atmosphere. There are many wonderful activities, outings and events. I enjoy the food and look forward to each meal. It is wonderful having a new menu each day. Another great perk, it's pet friendly!
