Steve and I are senior citizens in our 70's. We are now living in Lohman, MO. We are looking for a 2 bedroom, 1 0r 2 bath around $700.00 a month. We have a small dog and a cat that are service animals. Could you please let us know if any openings and how much for your rentals. Thank you for time!

WAS a very nice place, when i moved in 11 years ago… But, there have been at least 12 managers in 11 years. Can't keep management, maintenance or housekeeping staff. CONSTANT staff turnover. LOTS of maintenance requests ignored. Psrking lot has huge concrete holes (fall issue). Security doors not working (security issue). No cleaning of furniture or building-wide carpet in years (health issue). Individual'appliance repairs ignored as "not in budget" Same with parking lot repairs - "not in budget." Parking lot sidewalk lights haven't worked in months (security issue). Dog pee in corners of movie theater. Management claims it was cleaned but still stinks and glows under black light.(health issue) Tenant owner of dog has not been moved out. TV in theater room has cut wires and cable doesn't work. WRITTEN maintenance requests constantly lost. Every time the manager changes, all existing maintenance requests are tossed. NO followup.

It's a lovely place to live and not worry about repairs or lawn care. They have a shuttle bus for those who don't drive. It's not a nursing home and if I hadn't found this place 5 years ago I don't know what would have happened to me as I had no where to go that was affordable and gave me peace of mind for me and my little dog. I hadn't lived around other people for over 45 years and it's been a hard adjustment cause I'm really private person and I don't join in the card games and lunches. Older people love to gossip and for some reason they like discussing my behavior with great exaggeration. After almost 6 years I'm not bothered by the stories anymore and start rumors about myself just to get them going. I'm aware if it wasn't for this place I would have been homeless with my little dog. Seniors have little options for housing unless you're rich and own a home. There was plenty of student housing and families with kids but I couldn't find an affordable place for people over 60. My therapist told me about this place. I drove by every day when it was being built and assumed more student Apts. Thank God it's low income senior housing but it's not something visitors realize because it's so nice. Exercise room, pool table, movie theater and safe walking trails for exercise. Best kept secret and theres hardly an empty apt cause they rent quickly. It's my home and probably saved my life. Having a roof over my head and feeling safe in a secured building is a blessing.
