My husband was there for rehab for him having a stroke. He also had dementia so he would forget all the instructions. They had one wing shut off for the covid patients. I ask if it was safe to visit for xmas. They said it was safe. Everyone that visited him for xmas ended up in the er for the flu. I was in ice. My husband died from the flu. Now I get a bill for 105 dollars. They lost his dentures and clothes and shoes. They should owe me around 5000 dollars. Should I really pay this 105

I could not be happier with the facility and the staff. I want to give a big shout out for Carrie Wookey. I moved both of my parents from another facility into Delmar Gardens on the Green. Carrie helped make their move quick and seamless. My parents are very happy with the facility and the staff. Thank you all for everything you do for our loved ones. Dave Heller

I am very grateful to my daughter and the department of veterans affairs for getting me transferred to Delmar gardens on the Green. When I got here I was bed ridden couldn't not even stand up. Thanks to the proper care and therapy that I received here, I am now up and walking and completely independent. So I am very grateful to all the care that I've gotten here. I can only thank everyone who has helped me so much.

First review I forgot to mention, the activities Department. They go out of their way to make every day fun and festive. I have really enjoyed my stay here with the activities. I am so grateful to my daughter and the Department of Veteran affairs. For working so hard to get me transferred here. When I first got here I was bedridden and could not even stand up. With the proper care and therapy I can now walk, care for myself and I am independent. That's due to the great therapy and care I received here.

My dad passed away recently at Delmar Gardens On The Green (long-term-care). We chose Delmar Gardens On The Green due to the excellent Physical Therapy and nursing care that my mom received during her stay. Simply put, everyone really cares, including all levels of staff. We will never forget the kindness and compassion that our parents received. The staff makes all the difference !

Delmar on the Green has always had my Dads best well being on track. A test that needed to be preformed at a Hospital situation was completely handled with care and great follow up. The next day follow up continued with the nurse Sam on 1A making arrangements for a follow up appointment, complete with transport, time, location! Everyone involved on his hall is attentive, kind, helpful and thoughtful with Dad. Thank you TEAM. It is a good thing to know when Dads family would all be out of town that Delmar on the Green could handle every situation. Thank you, Julie H.

I buy stickers that are iron-ons with his name and iron them on his pants and shirts and write it with permanent marker as well and his clothes never get back to him.. one of the new cleaning women stole some of my uncle's food in May that I took them for him. They failed to make arrangements with VA transportation for an appointment he just had

Although the "pretty d©cor" may be a pleasant atmosphere. BEWARE! My husband was a resident for 3 months. His DR renewed the wrong prescription and he was given twice the prescribed dose of meds, which led to over aggressive behavior and eventually to an "incident". He ran away from the facility and could have caused great harm to himself and others. We leave our loved ones in care facilities for a REASON. THEY NEED CARE THAT WE CANNOT PROVIDE AT HOME.
