My parents moved into Brookdale West County about a year ago. It is a beautiful community with great outside areas for them to use. Since they moved in they have made wonderful friends with the other residents, as well as the staff. The care team is so loving and caring to my parents. They have every desire met by this team of fabulous caregivers. I couldn't ask for a better community for them to live!

My dad moved into memory care at Brookdale West County about 6 months ago, and we have had a wonderful experience so far. He is happy and content. The caregivers are thoughtful and kind, the activities are enjoyable, and the management has gone out of their way to help with anything we need. I highly recommend Brookdale West County.

We moved Mom in, then Dad, a few days apart. Brookdale personnell and staff have entirely worked with us throughout our entire life changes and processes! Everyone is always happy and pleasant, including staff, residents, and visitors. It always smells fresh inside, and there is a nice walk path, and a beautiful garden. My dad thoroughly enjoyed the garden area.

A dear friend recently moved in and she is delighted with the beautiful building and grounds and especially with the kind, fun-loving staff. And I will soon be leading weekly sing alongs for all residents at this facility! Watch for Sing Along with Cindy — it will be FUN!

I've been working at Brookdale for almost two years and love it! The entire staff including the supervisors are very nice and easy to talk too. I love working with the residents so many great stories these people still have so much to give and they love talking to you, wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

In 2016, we moved our relative to Brookdale West County. She was upset at moving to Assisted Living from her home, neighborhood and friends. The staff worked extremely hard to help her adjust and while it took months, she endeared herself to her surroundings. We recently moved her to a closer facility to friends and relatives. We have nothing but the highest praise for the management and all staff. The Activities Director, in particular, showed extreme patience.

My father has been a resident since June 2016. We have been very satisfied with the care he has received. Dealing with dementia has been very emotional and everyone at Brookdale has really put my family at ease. They are very respectful and make all of their guests feel at home. Very clean and the dining room has excellent food. Very many activities for everyone to participate. I would highly recommend Brookdale for your family member. Brookdale West County is one of the best places to work. I started with Brookdale almost a year ago and couldnt imagine going any where else to work. Everyone here, residents and empoyees, are so friendly! I tell people that this is my second home, it might be my job but it for sure is family here.

I love Brookdale . This was the first community i worked for that specialize in memory care. At a time were Alzheimer's population is increasing and families didn't have a lot of options at that time. It was nice, to see families have a since of security knowing, their is a place for their loved one to call home. They do not over work their employees. They actually care about their employees as much as they care about their residence. What is really important is to know they go extra mile to ensure your loved one is taken care of. Even though I'm I moved on in health care career. I still visit every 2 weeks. Thanks Brookdale for being the best employer and providing exceptional care!

When I found out my dad was suffering from dementia we had to do something to change his living situation. When he moved in to Brookdale he was in bad health and wasn't taking any of his medications he needed to. The staff here treat everyone like family and never make you feel judged for not understanding the full alzheimer/ dementia diagnosis. They have made my dad a happy, healthy person and we owe it to Brookdale! I have never seen him as happy as he is today. We finally got to the root of his health problems and I could not have done it without Brookdale! The staff is amazing here and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for their loved ones!

My mom has been in assisted living there since June 2013 and I have been happy with the care that they give my mom. I live 450 miles away so I only get there every 6-8 weeks for around a 5 day stay, so my mom gets to see me 10-12 hours on the days I'm there. It lets me see a change over time, and although she's continuing to age, she is stronger now than when she had her stroke. The staff seems very focused on treated the residents well, noticing changes in their health, and also know everyone by name and their interests and background. Although during the time most of the staff has turned over, I see many hard working, happy employees there. Communication from a distance is difficult and I find that they go out of their way to meet my requests for information. Mom takes a lot of medications for her ailments and I've never seen a miss in getting them to her. I also had the opportunity when mom wasn't in good shape and I asked to stay, that I saw that they really do the 2 hour checks on her status. I actually saw over 6 checks during the night hours and could hear that the conversations held were polite and well taken. I would recommend this place to others.

My mother-in-law has been at Brookdale West County for almost three years. Although she would much rather be in her own home in Wisconsin, that is no longer possible. Brookdale is a great alternative. Generally she is taken to church on Sundays, has a lunch outing on Mondays and has a fun/shopping outing on Thursdays. She is able to have her hair done at Brookdale, and the doctor visits her in her own room The staff genuinely likes her and she is well cared for.

I just wanted to Thank everyone who works at Brookdale for all of the personal care and the attention to detail that our Mom and the other residents receive daily. She has lived at Brookdale for almost 3 1/2 years and really loves being included in the weekly outings and special events. Thanks for being her family when we are not there!

This is a wonderful place. I enjoy the residents and families. The staff work very hard to accomplish any requests. I found the meals to be very tasty. Nursing staff and Dietary staff do a GREAT job.

Brookdale West County took amazing care of my father in law who so wanted to stay in his home. Just several weeks after living there, he considered Brookdale to be his home. The care staff there was amazing attending to his every need. The management team does an great job of caring for their residents and giving them the personalized attention they deserve. As my mother nears the end of her time here on earth, I feel a need to thank those that have been of assistance in the transition from independent living in her own home to skilled nursing/hospice. The first facility that we moved her to was assisted and a disaster. In hindsight, I realize that the place wasn't fit for our pets, much less our mother. At that time, we moved her to Brookdale West County into memory care (she suffers from end stage dementia). I have nothing but kind words for the staff and facility. In addition to the face that it was close to our home, the caregivers were kind and always in tune to her needs. She was always well cared for and I truly feel that the staff had her best interest at heart. There was never anything but love shown toward her and it was greatly appreciated by myself and my family. We moved her because her condition required skilled nursing, wish we were still there. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
