I was referred to Artis from A Place For Mom. We were looking for respite care while we waited for my mother's name to come up on the waiting list for a different memory care facility we had already picked out. From the first time I talked to Jana, she was amazing. She empathized with our situation (we had a lot of family issues going on at the same time) and tried to help in every way she could. I was very impressed with the philosophy and the way everything was structured at Artis to cater towards people with dementia. I liked how they try to give them freedom and still keep them safe also. If you do have a chance to be able to put your loved one here, do not hesistate!

Artis provides a neighborhood feeling for my father. He eats in a kitchen setting with his neighbors and can be interactive with the others living beside him. He is involved in activities daily and shares his stories with his family. The staff is kind and caring and take good care of him. The fact that he can go outside and walk among the trees is a plus. In the winter months he will be walking around the other 4 neighborhoods. He has found his home with Artis!

We moved our LO into Artis in mid/late October and so far things are going well. Jana was terrific and very responsive throughout the process and I've been very pleased with the care and attention our LO has received from the staff including Judith, Megan, Chelsey, Mengda and others. This is a tough transition for all of us and the staff at Artis has helped tremendously - almost forgot Scott, who has helped with the room and setting things up on the walls. Time will tell how things will go and much like other parts of health care and the economy, finding good caregivers aka care partners, is a tough task but thus far, my siblings and I have been very pleased with the quality of people and activities that Artis is able to provide. It's a great facility and I really like the neighborhood concept, as well as the outdoor spaces. If you are looking for a memory care residence - definitely check out Artis and talk to Jana!

We are so grateful for Artis. Jana’s compassion & understanding about dementia & the difference in their philosophy at Artis made us feel we found the right place for Dad. All of the staff are wonderful, they truly see each person as unique and help to engage them in the activities they can do. The care team is amazing. They are kind, patient, loving & fun to all.I like going to visit Dad and seeing residents walking about or playing a game, doing an activity or taking a nap. It feels just like home. They all have choices, and not a one size fits all approach. Everyone working at Artis knows each of the residents.The meals look & smell so good. Jana moved heaven and earth to accommodate a move for our loved one. Not an easy transition for anyone, the staff has been friendly and helpful with all of our questions and requests. So far we have had a great experience at Artis, love the outdoor spaces and the beautiful flowers!

The entire process of working with the team at Artis (Woodbury) was a pleasure. Not only did they provide the level of detail needed to our family, in our time of need, but also had a level of understanding and empathy that made the process much better. In a time where difficult decisions needed to be made, they helped take the stress out of it for us and for that we will always be thankful.

I have been working at Artis Senior Living of Woodbury for a couple of months. I have been overwhelmed with the welcome the team has extended to me. I have had wonderful support both from within the community and with my support team in learning my role. The bonus is to be witness of so many people genuinely caring for our residents and their families. While my role is more business orientated, I am given the freedom and encouraged to engage with our residents which fills my heart. Changing employers, especially during a pandemic is stressful...however this change has proven to heartwarming as well as providing me an opportunity to grow.

Artis has been absolutely amazing!!! This is the second senior community that my grandfather has been in, and it will be the last because they have met all of our wants and needs! The staff has taken such great care of my grandpa.We genuinely feel apart of the family at Artis. They have gone above and beyond to help my grandpa and his individual needs. They have clearly communicated all information regarding his care, his ups and downs, and just overall show so much love for him!I cant imagine having him anywhere else.
