I spent two years living at Suncliffe apartments and I could not have been happier. Tina and Xochitl I hope they are still there because they are fantastic at their job and create a great sense of community. They try their hardest with the resources at their disposal to make things great for their residents. The building is old and I lived in an unrenovated apartment. However, you will not find a lovelier sized apartment for the price. The building covering utilities and keeping the rent consistent is truly remarkably nice. Suncliffe will never try to gouge their residents and they work hard for everyone. The balconies are huge and mine looked towards the setting sun which was absolutely beautiful. The large sliding door brings in incredible air flow, if I had one slight complaint it would simply be the old school air conditioners which weren't able to cool the massive apartments but again Suncliffe works with what they have. The grounds of this building are lovely even tucked into a bustling Maplewood neighborhood. I do not drive and yet I had Target, Cub Foods, Aldi, numerous restaurants, Walgreens, and the Sun Ray shopping center in easy walking distance. I moved out for a new job on a over hundred degree summer day and it was extremely stressful but Suncliffe could not have been more accommodating and I will be forever grateful for that. The residents are hard working, many families, and very kind. Thank you for having me and making my time there great.

We've been at SunCliffe for 7 months. We love it here. Tina is so nice, the neighbors are pleasant, the property is cute, and the updates to the apartments are just awesome. We love the limited amounts of carpet, the insane amounts of cabinet storage, and you cannot beat the price. Close to Maplewood and Woodbury (such awesome communities) and of course downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis too. Lots of pet-loving people here! Electricity comes out to around $40/mo for our one bedroom, and that's the only utility you pay for. Internet is good. Garage space included in rent, pets are a very small additional fee. Everything is just great. Only complaint is that the washers and dryers go out of service fairly often, but they are usually fixed within a day or two. We highly recommend taking a tour at SunCliffe.

I have lived here now 6 months & it has been amazing! The staff are so friendly & caring! The residents are respectful & friendly. If you're looking for a pet friendly place this is definitely top notch! If you have any maintenance issues they respond fast. They use email to communicate instead of leaving annoying notes in your door! Also their package receiving locked room is so convenient! You get an email with a code as soon as your package arrives! Great place!

We used to live here from 2011 to 2021. Recently moved out( reason- relocation). Tina, Xochi, Katie, TJ have been an awesome team. I have known Tina, Xochi and Katie from day 1. So friendly, and they always have time for you. Maintenance was always quick to fix any issues and incase maintenance wasn't available ( which is rare), Tina or Xochi would immediately come and help us. Never had any problem with any residents there. They all were friendly. They do have storage room. All the facilities are kept clean. Katie does an awesome job keeping the property clean. If we ever move back to Minnesota, we will definitely go back to suncliff. Thank you guys for making us feel special.

I lived here from 2007 - 2012, and again from 2014 - 2015.My original experience there had the non-renovated apartment. I loved it. I lived in the one bedroom apartment facing north on the third floor next to the south stairwell. The downside was loud cars in the parking lot at times, and sometimes noise from the hallway. It cannot be stressed enough how there was almost no noise from neighbors. Even the stairwell was relatively quiet. My bedroom backed up to the cable room, so the stairwell noise was really limited. There was a free storage room and a free parking space underground. The trash chute was something I even miss to this day.I moved out because rent was getting too high and I didn't realize I was a valued tenant and Tina would have likely negotiated to make me stay. Unfortunately I found a new place before letting her know.I moved to another apartment complex (also wrote a review for it), and regretted it. I moved back almost as soon as I was able, and eerily enough I was able to get back into my EXACT SAME UNIT. This time it was renovated. It was exceptional except for the laminate flooring -- just a drop of liquid gets on the floor and it puckered!Tina was the best apartment manager I've ever worked with. I don't know if she still works there, but she was excellent. The only reason I moved out (and paid to break my lease) was because we decided to buy a house shortly after renewing our lease. Still is the best apartment living experience I've ever had or ever heard of from my friends and family. The neighborhood is not great, but it keeps the rent down! And underground parking means you never have to worry aboutcleaning snow off your car, shoveling your car out, or moving your car for the lot to be plowed!Even though I own a house now, I still find things I miss about this place.

Great place to live. Office staffs are really helpful. Living here for the past 2+ years finding everything better comparing the same budgeted apartments. The key facilities that make you amaze are controlled building access, party hall , heated underground parking, monitoring cameras, car wash, 24 hour emergency maintenance, inside Trash chutes, elevator access, tenant storage. Its also pet friendly i got a chance to have parakeet in my home.The underground heated parking and trash chutes really going to help you all through Minnesota winter.Close access to cub foods, Dominos, Target, BP, planet fitness and dollar tree in sunray mallThe fitness centre and BBQ grilling area - dont expect more on this.Well designed floor plans with good spacious designs.. good closet space and a balcony will make you love to choose Suncliff

I lived here for a year from July 2016 - June 2017. Management was very courteous and professional, and maintenance requests were followed through somewhat quickly. For minor things, it took about a week or less. The apartment itself was wonderful, fully renovated, and a great deal for your money. There are very nice people living in the building. The only con is that the neighborhood is a bit sketch and its close to the I 94 freeway, so you get traffic noise. But it makes it really convenient if you need to access the freeway. Also the building is not smoke free, which bothered me and made it hard to sit out on my balcony. Other than those things, I enjoyed my time here.

Recently moved to Sun Cliff Apartment and moving process was easy. Rental office people - Xochilt and Tina were helpful and so far it is good. Apartment is spacious (compared to other local) with cupboards. One disadvantage is separate laundry. But you get for what you pay. Fitness within the building makes it easier in winters. So far it is good...
