The staff is welcoming and helpful. Plus they are open to suggestions to improve, such as my improvement recommendation for their on-boarding process for new residents. The location is a plus with the St Michael excellent Center Park across the parking lot while the local library and senior center are within walking distance.

The staff take such good care of my parents and they love all the activities. We see them participating in the Facebook posts with smiles on their faces. For my Dads birthday party this week they played a big part in making sure our day was perfect.

Solid facility! Clearly the compassion and friendliness of the team sets them apart. Like most facilities, there seems to be a shortage of help - but when there is a need for some help, we have not experienced any delays. As it relates to the food, seems there may be a glitch in the giddy-up for both servers and cooks, and the food slightly suffers - but there seems to be a plan they are working towards. For the most part, the facility is clean and easily assessable. Seems there is a nice list of activities which is very helpful too. As a first time experience of a facility of this kind - I am quite happy and my dad seems to be too. And that is what is MOST important.

Legacy of St. Michael is a beautiful place for your loved ones to call home, I have had the opportunity to interact with Shaelee the Executive Director who is compassionate and caring for her residents! A great leader and listener and always goes the extra mile, her team gives great care and interacts with the residents that call The Legacy Home! I highly recommend if you are looking for your loved ones go tour and you can feel and see it for yourself! Keep giving the great care and keeping the residents safe!

The staff is extremely responsive and knowledgeable! I was looking at senior living options and Rachel went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered and I felt comfortable moving forward. My mom was very hesitant to move, it took her a bit to get used to the idea of being on her own. Now that she has been there for a few months she has a group of friends and one best friend that she enjoys being with. She loves the activities and the people that work there. I am very happy and relieved that she is in safe, healthy environment.

After touring multiple communities in Minnesota, it was clear that the reviews for Legacy does not accurately reflect its current state. This community truly deserves 5 stars for the warmth and friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, and the beautiful updates to the building. What really stood out during my visit was the vibrant atmosphere in the memory care area. Residents were actively engaging with one another, enjoying music and dancing from an outside band ” a wonderful testament to the lively and nurturing environment this community offers. Legacy is the type of place many families are searching for when looking for a senior living. Highly recommend!

I whittled down a list of hundreds (yes) to my top 5. In the end, Legacy of St Michael came out on top. The other 4 were very good and had great amenities, but this was the only place where both residents and staff looked like they WANTED to be there! They have a good meal plan, and if you don't like what they are offering that day--you can order off their (extensive!) menu. I love the clever way they disguise the door between the memory care unit and the rest of the building to keep residents from accidentally wandering out!
