Speaking for Lynn and myself, Dennis McAnally, we want to express our thanks and appreciation for the management and superb maintenance performance here at the Grainwood. No matter how big or small any issues that have come up during our stay here, they have been dealt with promptly and efficiently. Having the past experience, for many years, of managing apartment complexes, I realize the difficulty of meeting everyone's expectations. We believe Kim, Erica and Paul do an outstanding job in trying to create a professional and enjoyable environment. What we do not appreciate is disgruntled residents publishing their grievances as those respresenting the entire complex or as our personal views. We love it here!

I love living here. It's beautiful, quiet and lovely. Out of all the people that live here, there are only two that are nasty and that's very good for a building this size. Almost heaven with the large park to walk in and gracious staff. It would be great to have a non denominational church service available but that's hard to do.(And In case anyone hasn't heard, Kim has a Beautiful singing voice.)

My living experience here has been up and down and changed with fees that I did not do and going through my neighbor's who have boyfriends and since I am single jealousy of women screaming that I am moving in the middle of 329 and 325 has been difficult living here and Erica/Kim charging me monies for my guest and don't have any guests as well as Tracy and Renale when I am on Section 8 voucher program and they should have been talking to my Case manager Kathryn Horine at CDA and not me about situations have been observed. Otherwise I like the washer and dryer in the unit and I have been told that I might own the building and not anyone have discussed it with me about it all since Doug Veagey put out my invention from 336 Wet wipes by Cottonelle and the building was bought from Dominium and Doug got on the bus and said did everyone get their wet toilet paper and I didn't get mines and told her that it was my invention and Mary Jane said you don't get your's like everyone else did you have to buy yours and that that that was very mean for the office to do that to me and has been threatening to move out with rediculous fees that I did not do. Doug was the old Dominium bus driver and now there's a new one now.

I love our apartment. We’ve lived here 8 years and we’ve been very happy in our 3 bedroom apartment. It is, by far, the nicest building I have lived in. We have a beautiful view of the backyard that becomes our own oasis when we get our Spring planting done. Our cat wears a harness so she is able to mingle with people and their pets indoors and out. Underground parking and extra storage units is great, especially during the winter months. We’ve had fun times with our fellow residents in the common areas, especially the Great Room and movie area. This has been well worth the move to the beautiful Prior Lake area.

My daughter and have lived here a year and a half. We both need walkers and it is so easy to get around. The staff is great! They are very willing to listen. We love it that it is smoke free as we have allergies. The residents are able to have gatherings so we have a weekly potluck every Friday. We have had holiday parties. The card and crafts room is used a lot. If we need repairs, it is prompt response. This year we formed a gardening group to plant in the patio area. It is great because it is raised beds so we don’t have to get down on our knees. We have a movie twice a month as well. Everything is convenient. We didn’t give it five stars because the rent has gone up twice since we have been here. But to be fair, it is still lower than other apartments that are this nice. Our problem is that Social Security doesn’t give us a COLA to match the rising costs of housing everywhere. The owner has done a lot to get feedback on what we like and don’t like. We appreciate that.

Everyone is so friendly here from residents to management. The shared spaces are kept up nicely and I enjoy having friends and family to visit as they are as impressed as I am.

Beautiful apartments and a very helpful and knowledgeable manager. There are many lovely amenities here, like a movie theater room, fitness room with fab equipment and a gorgeous gathering room with gourmet kitchen and adjacent dining for those celebrations just a bit too big for one's apartment! Everything is decorated very woodsy and serene, and everywhere was immaculately clean!

Nice 55+ building in a convenient location. They are pretty good to my dad there, even though he is not always a model tenant. He lives off of disability so the section 42 status helps him afford an updated, safe place loaded with amenities. The Grainwood really stepped up and helped him turn his outlook around after his condo burned down and left him with nowhere to live and no possessions. Thanks to all the staff who put up with him and who call me to gently let me know what's going on with him. I feel very good about my dad living at The Grainwood. They really go out of their way to understand the needs of their tenants.

Love it! BEAUTIFUL apartment, great management and staff (CJ and Donnie are the best!) reasonable prices. I have lived in Grainwood in for 2 years. Just moved from a 1 bedroom to a 3 bedroom. They are quiet and clean. Impeccable! My first time living in an apartment and I love it! I highly recommend it!

On March 20th 2020 I experienced problems with my toliet, I called in immediately for emergency service C.J. The maintenance man came out and fixed the problem, He done a nice and efficient job also cleaning up behind himself. Thanks so much C.J if I could give you ten stars you deserve them all and more , GRAINWOOD APARTMENT IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE OF LIVING

I could not be happier living at the Grainwood Apartments! My apartment is bight with large windows. Love the balcony. Large closets. Washer dryer. Amenities are wonderful and the building is beautiful. Very quiet day and night. Lots of activities. Within walking distance of Prior Lake library, a bakery and a brewery. Friendly neighbors, some have become friends. Onsite management, Malia and Ranell, are available and always helpful. The maintenance team, CJ and Donny, are the very best! I love living here, it’s home, and plan to stay a long time!

We are starting on our third year here at Grainwood and I would say things are going good. Our first year we had a few complaints but it has steadily gotten better. Malia has been a god send since day one. She has helped me with ever complaint or problem I have had. She is always courteous and helpful. This year we got a new manager Ranell and I think she has been a great addition. CJ was added to the team and has brought joy and sunshine wherever he goes. He is helpful and kind and takes great care of our needs and goes above and beyond. I am happier now that there are more activities to do and I have gotten to meet a lot of the residents. Every place has its up and downs like rent increases BUT I enjoy living here at Grainwood.

If I didn't know better, I would think I was the only one living here.....it's so quiet! My apartment is clean, open, windows, a small deck & plenty of closet space. Two closets actually, one in the entry & a walk in in the bedroom, washer & dryer & all necessary kitchen appliances. Heated underground garage available, storage locker available & they even allow my spoiled cat. But here's the best part. My microwave went on the fritz this weekend so I made a maintenance request Today, Monday, CJ appeared & fixed it. He's a pleasant guy & he made sure he did not leave a mess. I couldn't be happier with a place to live.

The property is great and very quiet! Moving home in 2018 and moving to Grainwood Senior Living was the right choice for me. There are many activities if you are want to join and they keep the property in top shape. I love that my apartment was new when I moved in and immediately felt like home. I recommend this community to anyone 55 and over! All the staff is great to work with.

Management stinks,nosey neighbors they treat you like a criminal when you're paying $1458 a month not worth it, but the build it self is beautiful inside out.
