High turnover in staff and management because new executive director. Five residents have left over the five months that she has been there. Rent being raised 11%. Poor food quality.sometimes food is inedible, sometimes not so bad .RAs and CNAs left are good but they seem to be leaving at an alarming rate.

"My five siblings and I can't say enough positive things about the experience our dad has had after moving into Monarch Meadows in North Mankato. From the administration, to the health care, to the activities program, to the dining facility and meals, he has been treated so kindly. At 90-years-old, it's not an easy move to make--going from one's home of many years to assisted living. Monarch Meadows has made the transition so easy. What a cool thing to have him email us nearly every day with what he has enjoyed doing--Bingo Night, special music programs, movie night, special meals, worship opportunities, Trivia Night, etc. To a person, every aide or nurse who has come to serve his medical needs has been kind and respectful. I visited with David Lewis last night, Monarch Meadows' top admin. He loves the residents and it's clear in everything he says and does. He said he is especially gratified when Monarch Meadows can assist a family with taking the burden of caring for a loved one off of their shoulders. He truly has his heart in the right place for his position. He has worked tirelessly at accommodating our family's needs. My dad has now been placed on hospice. Monarch Meadows worked with Ecumen hospice seamlessly to help him make the transition. He continues to live at Monarch Meadows with the same wonderful care and quality of life but now has the added blessing of 'hospice angels' at his side. My siblings and I would all highly recommend Monarch Meadows of North Mankato, MN. We are truly grateful!"

Nancy did an amazing job at giving me a tour of her facility. She is super welcoming and answered all of my questions. She made sure to show me the model rooms and how she connected with other staff and residents made me feel even better about her! I was able to chat with some of the other staff and they were super welcoming as well. Great team and great visit!

My mom is there .N its a great place for the elderly .Tammy:Donna;n Gail are great staff.They go above n behond to do great little things for the residents.Daisy is so sweet.N Teresa i kinda know her n shes great with my mom.My mom says all the aids are good to her.Thank all ya.N may God Bless ya my mom n all the residents.N there is one social worker cant name her but she helped me get my mom there when i got to where i couldn't take care of her myself.Tammy knows who im talkn about.

Awesome place to work! The residents are great and really show appreciation for the work we do. Great coworkers too, being a team player is what it is all about. The management,nursing,culinary and maintenance crew too. Love it!!

The family of Nettie Erickson spent Jan. 4th and 5th in the visitors suite on 2nd floor, celebrating Christmas!! The accommodations were wonderful! The apartment was so warm and cozy. We brought gramma's Christmas tree into the apartment and piled all the presents around the tree! What an awesome sight! Thanks again MM for playing a big part in our memory making weekend!!
