My husband just moved into memory care here at Sunrise. The people are all so wonderful. They go above and beyond the call of duty here. So very caring and go out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome and take care of all our needs. Very glad we found this facility. Highly recommend it! Chris C. Is awesome. He has made this difficult situation easier. He is kind and caring.

Sunrise did a great job taking care of my uncle in the last 5 months of his life. Uncle Chuck's medical, nutritional and personal care needs were met with professionalism and loving care. The staff was very attentive, keeping my family informed of any issues. We are grateful to Sunrise for providing Chuck a warm and supportive place for him to live out his final days before passing at age 97.

We are so pleased with my brother-in-law's new home! He is comfortable surrounded by familiar furniture and items from his old home. The staff is friendly, and they work hard to keep him involved with the community. The food is delicious! He also loves that there is a courtyard so he can go outside. Five stars from us!

My mother lived in the memory care unit at Sunrise of Minnetonka from 2016 until she passed away in 2023. The staff gave her absolutely wonderful care that entire time. My mother had dementia, but also another diagnosis that made placement difficult. In addition, she was very active and alert, so she needed beautifully decorated surroundings, lots of interesting daily activities to choose from, great tasting food, and friendship. The staff at Sunrise excelled at all of the above, for almost seven years straight, including through the difficult years of the pandemic, adjusting mom's care as her needs changed. I HIGHLY recommend Sunrise!

Sunrise of Mtka is the first place I toured and they set the bar pretty high for the rest of the assisted living tours on our schedule. I cannot give it a 5 yet as we haven't experienced living there. But it felt like coming home, from the porches and the greeting from Bruce and the staff, to beautiful light filled rooms, to the gorgeous gardens and welcoming dining area. Nicole was a joy to work with and very helpful in answering questions. This location will be a tough act to follow.

Moved my mother in a little over a month ago. Everything about Sunrise has been amazing! The staff are extremely friendly and always give you a helping hand! They keep everything very clean and the amenities are top notch! We will recommend Sunrise to anyone looking for a senior living spot for their loved ones!

Finding Sunrise of Minnetonka was a relief to me and my family when my mom needed the next level of care. We looked at newer, larger assisted-living facilities, but they all seemed under-staffed, where the residents would get lost in the shuffle. But the staff at Sunrise is incredibly caring, knows my mom well and calls her by name. The director goes out of his way to be welcoming and cheerful. The fresh flowers, flavored water in the bistro, games, events, and even a Sunrise dog named "Bruce," help make the place feel more like a home than an assisted living facility. Best of all, mom is happy there.

The transition to assisted living is never easy. But Sunrise of Minnetonka has turned out to be the best decision we could have made for my mother-in-law. We scoured the area, visiting many different assisted living places. There are certainly newer places, with bells and whistles like swimming pools and two-story fireplaces. But we were concerned about the long, long hallways and, with so many residents, Mom possibly feeling like a number. Sunrise is smaller, cozier, and the management and the staff are so caring. They are respectful and kind to the residents and to each other. The atmosphere is wonderful—it feels like family. The cook knows what each resident likes, and if someone asks for blueberry pancakes for dinner, then that is just fine. There is even an elderly dog who greets visitors and hangs out with the residents. With the help of caring staff, Mom is now much more comfortable, and as her needs have changed, Sunrise has been able to accommodate her.

When we got to Sunrise there was Perry's favorite dessert, ice cream and chocolate sauce. Everyone came out to greet him by name. They say that moving a love one to a Memory Care unit can be difficult, my husband liked it from the minute we stepped in the front door. His apartment is large, with hardwood floors, spacious living are and large bedroom area with many windows that look out to the wooded area. The Executive Director Tommaso was so warm and friendly to my entire family, I would have to say that Lisa, Nicole, Carissa, Claire and the entire staff are some of the most friendly loving people, that is what makes the difference from other facilities, they actually all care about your loved one and his family. I highly recommend Sunrise in Minnetonka if you want your loved one to be taken care of with respect and very competent people. Thank you all, Joann Torvik

We were faced with having to make a very quick move into a facility that could care for my husband. My Aunt had been at Sunrise Minnetonka and loved it. So we reached out to them and their response was incredible. The care they gave my husband and myself was more than I had expected, making a very difficult situation much more bearable. Sunrise of Minnetonka has become a wonderful home for our mom. She is happy, comfortable, safe and busy with the many daily activities, special events and pleasant meals in the dining room. Her apartment is a perfect fit for her needs. The windows offer a beautiful view and provide a sunny, well lit room. The Sunrise staff has been exceptional in meeting all of her needs with professionalism and kindness. As a family, we are very satisfied and appreciative of this community.
