As a short term resident (4 weeks) I've see all the highs and lows. I've seen other transitional care facilities. This one absolutely rocks! There were some bad apples (only 2-3) but being that I'm only 61 I had no problem advocating for myself. I highly recommend Redeemer for your elder care needs To the families, stay involved and advocate for your needs. Then follow up to make sure it was followed up on.

We had to remind staff daily to give my mom one of her prescribed meds and they were very dismissive about this. She was released on a Saturday they did not send the oxygen tank or nebulizer with her and waited until the following Tuesday to deliver it.

Redeemer Health and Rehab Center exceeded my expectations. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and caring. My mom has stayed here for respite care and is always treated like family. The staff make the process of dropping her off seamless and I am able to leave stress free, knowing she'll be well cared for. The cleanliness of my mom's room and the facility is A+. If you are looking for a place where you can trust the staff with your loved one's care, Redeemer Health and Rehab is definitely the place!

September 20, 2021 My name is Duane and I am writing this review as a recommendation for Redeemer Health and Rehab on 31st and Lyndale Ave. S. I also want to personally thank the Redeemer team for taking care of my Brother while he was a resident there in your facility. My brother Demetrius was a resident there in August 2021 for approximately 3 weeks before he died from lung cancer. During that time, I visited him almost daily and intentionally at different times so I could get familiar with the staff and service provided by Redeemer. I can honestly tell you without reservation that this facility is top notch and has caring medical professionals employed there. My brother was treated with gentleness and care that I never witnessed before in the healthcare profession. For example, he was always clean, and always had food and water available. He wasn't man handled or jerked around. His room always smelled clean and stocked with towels, blankets, soap and other essentials. The staff members were always very attentive to our requests and the needs of my brother. One employee in particular went above the call of duty in demonstrating professionalism and care for my brother. It was obvious to my entire family that Mr. Stephen Mrutu was passionate about his work and showed it daily. He exemplified the kind of nursing care that we need and deserve for our love ones during their final days. Thank you, Redeemer, and especially Mr. Mrutu.

My sister, Mary, had lived her last several years at Redeemer. The community that is built there provided a warm and safe environment for her. Mary was a kind soul and was surrounded by many friends and caring staff. Thank you for making her last years feel like a home and instilling kindness there!

I have worked here for over 3 years and each day I see new reasons to be proud to work here. From the compassionate care that our nursing staff provides, to the new ways the activity staff engage our residents to the ways our dining staff provide a wide selection of foods to fulfill our residents palates. Its a great place to be!
