I would have loved to move there but would not accept my service dog, so deal breaker.

85 degrees and A/C doesn't work. Thermostat says change batteries. I supply/do it myself. Still no go. Tell the guy sitting playing catch with his ball(s) in the office. He tells me to track down the maintenance guy (gone for the day) I can barely walk.

White Pine is now a facility option for my sister who needs extra care at this time in her life. She will be moving from an independent living apartment and has a difficult time with change. The reviews I've read on this website have been wonderful and I am pleased that she may be a resident there herself. Thanks to all the directors and the entire staff who make this a safe, comfortable, caring place for all those who live at White Pines.

My mother, who has Alzheimers, moved into White Pine earlier this year, and weve been impressed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The building is homey, with a nice layout, including a large main room and outdoor patio (there are also nearby walking paths that my mother enjoys when we visit). Her room is spacious, especially the bathroom. Everything is always very clean. We also appreciate the option of having an in-house medical provider, pharmacy program, footcare service and hairdresser. Were glad we found White Pine.

White Pine has been a great facility for my father with Parkinsons. The staff is always upbeat and personable when I am there to visit. They do a good job making sure my dad is safe, comfortable and happy. Whenever I have concerns or special requests, they make sure to adjust his plan and do what is in his best interest. I am very pleased with his care at White Pine.

White Pine has been a blessing to us, knowing that our loved one is safe and sound. After COVID-19 hit the country, I was wondering how they would handle it. The precautions taken were stellar. We are confident of the fact that she is safe. Being the social butterfly that she is, it is wonderful that she has found friends there and is encouraged to socialize. The staff is courteous and considerate. Im glad we chose White Pine..

I have recently moved my mother from a private pay facility to White Pine, during this process everyone I dealt with was professional, friendly and very supportive. My only regret is that I didnt make this move sooner. My mother is 98 years old.

Decent. I visit a parishoner here. Big open rooms. Not much in the way of private, quiet space, to visit. I know it's hard to find good employees for Sr. Living Homes so I'm not going to criticize. The facitily is fairly new and in decent repair. They would be wise to invite local clergy, especially of residents, to come lead relgular worship services.

We are so impressed with the quality of care that is the standard at White Pine in Mendota Heights. We looked at several assisted living facilities before choosing White Pine. My mother is nearly 92 and on hospice, so our main concern was the quality of care. We have found it to be exceptional. The staff are warm and caring. They go above and beyond what I would expect and they show genuine warmth and love to the residents. Mom was in a TCU before she came to White Pine and is was common to wait for ten minutes or more before the call button was answered. At White Pine, I have been timing the response time, and it is often under a minute and rarely more than two minutes. Mom refers to the staff as her sweet friends which makes us feel so good about our choice. They brought in a radio so she could listen to music, they rub her back to make her comfortable, they quickly learned how she likes to be positioned in bed, they talk to her with affection and bring her treats to encourage her to eat. They are friendly to the family and willing to answer questions. The staff have made a difficult time for our family so much easier. The facilities are very nice. The room is good sized and there are several nice sitting areas. We highly recommend White Pine in Mendota Heights.

My Mother was only here for a month but the time she was here, it was excellent. All of the staff members were wonderful and I could not be more pleased with the care she got. The quality of the staff members is superb and the activities director was just awesome! He coordinated things like exercise classes, Christmas parties, and bingo. I was really surprised about how he got my mom involved in some of the activities. The building itself is beautiful and well maintained. I was actually lucky enough to be able to try the food here and the chef makes everything from scratch. He made the best spaghetti Ive ever eaten in my life! During the Christmas party, he had a huge buffet of food and my biggest complaint is the serving sizes were too big, I would definitely recommend this facility to other families.
