The management team is very receptive and quick to respond to any needs or concerns. The care team has improved significantly over the last 6 months, and there is a genuine concern for the residents safety and care throughout the staff.

We had a very positive experience with the care our mom received in the memory care unit at New Perspective. Nurse Kelly was very helpful with the transition to care there, during our mom’s stay and as we prepared for the final phase setting up hospice.

Beautiful well maintained senior living establishment. Great food. Nick, the sales director is awesome. My parents enjoy the singing and bingo a lot as well as the other activities. Boni, Jon, Lollie, just to mention a few, and other staff members are great.

When I went in for a tour the sales director, Nick, was amazing. He did great at sharing all the important information and answering all my questions. The building is beautiful with a lot of great amenities and things to do.

My Family and Myself have been working through the process of relocating my Parent's to a New Senior Living Facility to better meet their changing Health needs. When I contacted New Perspectives. I spoke with Nick Brown who handles all interviews and activities associated with this facility. Nick was totally accommodating from the first tour to the final. He listened attentively, took a great deal of time listening to our concerns. Totally engaged in delightful conversation with my Mother and showed the utmost respect and concern.He was very polished , professional, and incredibly personable. We were incredibly impressed with Nick and New Perspectives and all this facility offers. I highly recommend New Perspectives

We moved my parents into New Perspective in June 2020 and have had no regrets whatsoever. New Perspective works hard to provide a "community" feel and my parents have assimilated great. I know my parents are cared for, have firends and that the staff has their best interests at heart. Nick Brown is a great Sales contact and has always been very responsive, friendly and caring. Finding a new home for yourself or a loved one is a big task but know that if they choose New Perspective, they will be treated well!

From the first phone call to set up a tour with Nick, through the whole process of moving our Mom into memory care, everyone at New Perspective has been wonderful. The kind, caring and compassionate support by staff and the New Perspective community has made the difficult transition to memory care a positive experience not only for Mom, but for our family as a whole. The facility is open, inviting and well maintained. The food is really good. Their are always a variety of activities going on. And the staff has always been friendly, supportive, and helpful. New Perspective for us is easily becoming a second family!

Finding a memory care facility for a parent is by far one of the most difficult transitions a family can make. We were, however, pleasantly impressed with New Perspective from the very first phone call to set up a tour with Nick. Not only did the NP staff walk us through ever step we had to make, but their kind, caring, considerate personal support for Mom and our family has been an on-going blessing to us. The facility itself is well maintained with an open and inviting atmosphere. There are always activities and smiling faces to assist Mom in her needs. And the food is really good! Probably the best compliment I can offer in this review comes by way of my Dad .... "Everyone there seems so happy!" New Perspective has become a second family.

I want to thank you both (Jenna and Kristen - the housekeepers) for finding my roses that I received as a funeral remembrance and in which they were thrown away on accident. I appreciate Jenna (housekeeper) so much with helping me out as I need things completed, as well as for the free hugs when I need one! She will listen to me when I am having a sad day due to the lost of my husband. She is so precocious to me. Also, I want to make several comments about the care of my resent husband that lived in Betty's Harbor. Bonaventure the caregiver, he is the most caring caregiver I have ever met. He is so compassionate, wonderful, and kind with the care of my husband during his passing. If my husband was having a bad day, Bona would come in and calm him down. He had the best hugs a person could give during last part of my husband's final journey. I am so thankful for living in such a caring place here at New Perspective, from the servers of making it a fund day. Everyone care's about how I am doing during the day. The activities are wonderful from the exercises to the bingo games. Also, I have a chance to work on craft things with my wonderful friend Lollie, LEC in Betty's Harbor.

We have had a wonderful experience at New Perspective. The staff has been wonderful including a 5 star rating for Nick. He has been attentive, caring, and understanding of our needs for our mom. He worked with us remotely to help tour the facility. He responded fast to any questions we had prior to our stay and while we were at New Perspectives. Overall a great asset to New Perspectives. Mom loves the food, the entertainment, and all the kind smiles. I'm impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and would highly recommend this facility!

We toured New Perspective in Mankato in June of 2022. The staff and facility in Mankato appeared excellent to me. They were definitely top of my list. Ultimately, we decided on a smaller facility because my parents felt more comfortable coming from a smaller town.

My first contact with New Perspectives was with Joleen, who was the manager on duty, Saturday, March 19,2022. We had planned on touring New Perspectives during the next few months as my parents had decided it was time for them to make a transition to a Senior Living/Assisted Living facility. In a phone conversation, Joleen went "above and beyond" and was exceptionally helpful, authentic and compassionate! She immediatley connected me with Nick, Director of New Perspectives. First impressions, WOW!! Nick made time for us within less than 72 hours, understanding our needs and urgency. He was very kind, warm, friendly, helpful and compassionate to our situation. Again, exceeding any expectations we had anticipated. He was very supportive with my parents; patient, informative, taking time to answer all their questions. It's been seven weeks, and that same level of service and attention is there for them, answering questions, phone calls, providing direction and guidance. He and my Dad also share a common characteristic, humor 🙂 🙂 During our visit and tour, we also had the opportunity of eating in the dining hall and found the experience to be exceptional! The energy was very positive among residents and everyone appeared very happy, engaging and cheerful. The meals are delicious, healthy and very balanced (home cooked)! We met Linda, I believe Executive Chef/Cook, again very professional, kind, friendly and passionate about her role at New Persepectives. We're all very excited and relieved for my parents, knowing they'll be in exceptional care, surrounded by KINDNESS!! Thank you for making this experience and decision so positive for all of us!

My parents lived here for a year. Communication with management was slow. My parents complained often of the food. 30 minutes of cleaning time per apartment did not get the job done. Before Covid hit, I was taking out garbage, cleaning out fridge, dusting and sweeping for my parents as the room was not clean. I was told they simply don't have time to clean the apartments even though we were paying for it to be done. The individual caregivers were great and the activities director/ bus driver is superb! My parents still talk about him in high regard. In the end, I chose to move my parents to a different facility and we are having a much better experience.

I read it the New Perspective with 5 star rating because I think theyre our greatest asset is a quality of their employees they are very helpful and very friendly and the plus the facility itself has lots of Windows and its a very clean and well taken care of so Ill one cannot help but give it A5 star rating

New Perspective definitely deserves a 5-star rating. My mother and dad lived there almost 10 years and loved it. There was always something for them to do, whether it was bingo, cards, exercising, playing pool or attending church services. I cant say enough about the staff - they became part of my extended family and I still stop in occasionally to stay in contact with them. They treated my parents like they were their grandparents and when they passed away they all shed tears with me. This place is wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a home for their parents.

I cant say enough about New Perspective. The staff is so caring and helpful and the director is one of the best around. They have fun activities for the residents, bring in good entertainment, have regular church services, and exercise opportunities designed for the residents who live there. The apartments are really nice and have in room laundry which is very helpful and not always available. I would highly recommend.

I have worked at Keystone of Mankato for over a year now and it is the most home-like place I have ever worked. The staff and tenets are so caring and pleasant to be around. I feel we have the cleanest facility and grounds with the best care and outstanding meals. If I were looking to place my parents in a senior housing facility, Keystone is where I would want them.
