The administrator, Jennifer, with over 5 years of experience and a background as a caretaker, impressively addressed my concerns about their ability to care for my father. She provided reassuring examples of how the staff would handle his specific needs and behaviors, including redirecting techniques to prevent physical altercations. Her confidence in her team's ability to manage his care was evident, and she was unwavering in the face of his reported incidents. I'm thoroughly impressed and feel confident in their capabilities to care for my father.

I was there with my wife for about a year and a half and I'm very glad we have moved! The management was definitely not good! There were times when I was on the call light for over 30 minutes. The staff there is very nice though, and I miss some of some of them, like KiKi and Rodney. Management lies and makes things up. My wife was falsely reported for saying a horrible word (which she has never said), but Ranya somehow turned it into me saying it (which I never said either). Ranya seems like a nice woman when touring, but that's because she is good at selling the place. I know of at least 2 residents there who Ranya told them that they do a monthly trip for the residents, which they definitely do not do! She definitely is guilty of false advertising and should be fired for that The food there is not great (it's typically not bad, but more like it's just ok), and sometimes the portions are way too small. A half portion where I am now is as big or bigger than what I'd typically get at White Pines. Good luck if you need maintenance done! The maintenance guy is good and nice, but he's only there one day a week and he's responsible for at least a couple of other buildings. It took over a month to get our fixed at one point. When we were looking to move my county case manager and the head nurse from here came to talk to me at White Pines and the first thing they noticed when they entered the building was employees standing around on their phones and they said it smelled like a nursing home (my case manager said she could smell urine). Neither of them were greeted when they came in. Oh, and management and the nurses are only there during the week.

Absolutely love this facility. I was toured by Heidi, she was very sweet and smiley. The building was clean and smelt amazing. The residents all were chatting and friends- really felt like a family. Overall as you can tell by my review I'm very pleased with this place and look forward to bring my family here.

I've been to this facility many times in the past and I've never seen it so nice, updated decor, smells good, staff were super friendly and management was very thorough when explaining information about the building. When I walked into the door I was greeted and given something to drink and snack on. Made me feel like I was walking into a home not a resident facility. I would recommend this place to my loved ones. Thank you, White Pine!

My first experience upon visiting White Pines was great. I met Ranya and had a great conversation about the way things were run. Then she had Robin take me on a walking tour while explaining the building layout and benefits of living here. They were both very easy and friendly to talk to. Jenny the nurse was a great help setting up my medical needs. The kitchen food and service was good and served all the time. Aids are great and fun to work with. All in all the staff and admin seem to have fun working with each other and with admin. The therapy department is also very good . The therapy department is also very good . Have been working with them for about a month and have already been making improvements. Didn't look any further for a place to stay.

I had to lose my car and lose my apartment of Twenty years after a series of falls. Since being here at White Pines I've had a series of Life Events and lots of medical issues. The staff and nurses have been very patient with helping me through all of these changes. It's been difficult and I've been a big grump but they have carried me along with kindness in spite of that.

Moved my father in October was well staffed. Now since june 2023 they fired all the stuff every time I have been to visit there one person to twenty some guys need to hire staff urgently resident not getting the care they need housekeeping also never gets done have to bag some to clean his room.laundry is always mixed up things come up missing like shavers etc. Really has gone down hill and the was just raised not a good deal for what we are paying.

Top of my list just moved my Dad in with new carpet installed the same day. Clean very clean. Staff is very friendly and they changed his care plan after he got scared thinking he was locked in his room. My Dad is in Memory Care so the truth is he just doesn't open the doors without direction I was so happy the care plan was changed to keep my Dads door open and encouraged him to visit in the community. I even got pictures of him enjoying the TV area to ease my mind.

White Pine AL has been a huge support for me. I started coming to White pine AL through agency, I kept picking up any shifts because staff was funny and cared for they residents. After 2 months I noticed the assistant manager position open, I have never had a management position before- but was very interested in gaining experience. Management was very kind and willing to train me and help me grow. I have learned so much and really grown on my communication skills. Residents are kind and family. I enjoy working with white pine, I recommend it to anyone looking for a place for they loved ones!

My Husband has been in the Men's Dementia Unit for a year now. Staff have been great with him and our family. My questions and concerns have been responded to quickly. Kelli understands not everyone with dementia is the same. My husband looks fine physically, his brain is dying, it wasn't safe for him or me to have him at home. I know he is safe and cared for at White Pines.

We moved my dad into the Dementia program at WhitePines on 10/19/2020 it was smooth transition for dad. The staff are excellent. Very clean. With Covid going on they really care for the patients and staff so no one gets sick. Very beautiful building. We are very satisfied with our decision to move dad there.

I have nothing but good things to say about White Pine in Inver Grove Heights. My mother has been living there for about 10 years. Even though staff have come and gone she continually receives great care. I would highly recommend this place. One thing to keep in mind is to get to know the staff and bring any concerns immediately to them. They have always responded to our little problems in a timely manner.

White Pines became home for my Aunt in January of 2019 after it became evident that living on her own was no longer an option. The staff at White Pines took so much care in being sure her transition to assisted living went smoothly and felt good to her. She loved the activities and the other residents were quick to become her friends. We loved the attention to details and the flexibility they allowed us as family to be involved with her care. It wasn't long after her move that she transitioned to onsite Hospice care due to Stage 4 cancer. White Pines staff were very attentive to her needs and coordinated with hospice providers and us as family. We know that the staff at White Pines loved on her up on to her last days in June of 2019. They were so kind and gentle and it was an incredible blessing to know she was well cared for when we couldn't be with her.

Updated Review. This facility continues to deserve a 5 star rating. (Please note: At least one of the 1 star ratings is from a justifiably fired employee. That could be the case for more than one negative review. I have also never once seen a staff member on a cell phone.) My initial review was when my brother had lived at White Pine for 10 months. He has now lived there 16 months. He has been a quadriplegic for 2 years. The staff are warm and friendly. By and large, the staff are VERY diligent in their care for my brother. They will go above and beyond for the purpose of doctor appointments or church, sometimes even paying for extra staff to make it possible to have him ready on time. He really enjoys his own apartment.. He is one of the younger residents, but is blessed to be old enough to qualify for Assisted Living. I'd highly recommend White Pine Senior Living. He would too. (Costs are based upon level of care. He pays for the highest level of care.)

Worked here about a year ago and I loved it! Especially loved the residents. Food was better than a lot of other assisted livings I've worked for. They had on going INTERESTING activities and the atmosphere was great it was like a building of one dysfunctional but happy family lol Gave 4 stars because of management, they were never in the office didn't care about employees or the residents and i just feel that the residents deserve much more for the price they pay! Also, I dont think as an aide and on top of caring for the residents, giving them their meds, helping them with things little as reminders to fully getting someone dressed we should have to wash dishes and clean kitchen area shouldn't that be the cooks job? idk but overall good place!
