Meadow Ridge has been an excellent choice for my dad. The staff is kind and competent. The facility is clean and pleasant. He really likes it there! Update: All the Meadow Ridge staff have been very compassionate and went above & beyond while my dad was on hospice. I highly recommend this facility. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

My dad lived in Memory Care at Meadow Ridge for about a year until his recent passing. All staff- from maintenance to nursing to the director - are kind, attentive and compassionate. My only regret is that we didn't know about Meadow Ridge sooner in order to move him there. Meadow Ridge has a strong sense of community. Where he lived prior to Meadow Ridge paled in comparison. Highly recommend!

My mother moved to Meadow Ridge in January and the only downside is I didn't do it sooner. The care and support we have both received through this transition has been above and beyond. The staff helped me through the whole process and mother loves her caregivers and the daily activities.

I am so happy and relieved that my mother is living here. Modern, bright, clean! Staff cares about her and knows her by name, even the staff that is not in Memory Care (where she lives). Ashley at the front desk is totally awesome. Michael and Alex know my family by name as well, and are amazing. So many activities and they make sure my mom is safe. Highly recommend.

I looked at many senior living places for my dad before choosing this to be his new home. So far our experience has exceeded both my dad and my expectations. Generally speaking the transition for both myself, as the young daughter trying to find the perfect home for my dad, and for my father, accepting the bitterness of losing his independence as he ages, is a demanding and exhausting one. But from the moment I walked into Meadows I was greeted with so much warmth and support and continual communication. I was no longer doing this alone anymore as I had been for months, I had the genuine assistance of these kind and accommodating people and it has been an incredible development for my dad, and our whole family! I haven't met a single bad apple, and the community as a whole is truly like a giant family. They all welcomed my dad in as if they had been long anticipating his arrival, he says he hasn't been this happy in years. He is well taken care of, the nurse is wonderful, the doctor comes weekly, the residents are adorable to say the least...everything is always clean but beyond that even decorated according to the seasons (very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for family visits, just a nice touch) And even though my dad has some difficult moments, he is always treated like a human being with dignity and respect. He would certainly tell me if he wasn't! More than once the staff at Meadows went out of their way to accommodate my dads needs and were very generous in helping him feel comfortable and at home. I can't say enough about this place, our family can visit any time, they even welcome our four legged friends  . I have joined my father for meals in the dining room and the food is excellent, the kitchen staff and servers are very kind. My dad has made many friends and even joins in on the activities, which is uncharacteristic! He used to isolate but now he is socializing! They manage his medication and take his health very seriously, I have been called many times from the nurse even in her off hours to discuss ways to improve my dads well being, not because I ask but because she cares. He gets hair cuts, his finger nails and toe nails are clipped and cleaned, his hygiene is consistently noteworthy, which was a problem before moving him in here. When I was getting my dad a landline, the staff even offered to go and find a phone at the store for me, who does that? My dad and I give thanks to God daily.

After looking at a few senior living facilities, we ultimately selected Meadow Ridge for my mother. This decision was based on a number of factors: great location, lovely and clean interior spaces, incredibly helpful staff throughout the move in process who were responsive to all of our many questions and quickly felt like part of "our team." My mother's apartment is very cute. She has made many friends and participates in community activities regularly. The activities staff are so kind and creative. The staff in general seem caring and kind. They have gone above and beyond on numerous occasions and shown that they actually do care. My understanding is they focus on updates and improvements such as enhancing menu options and the dining room. It has been a tremendous relief to see my mom settling in, making friends, and smiling. In the beginning, which I know can prove challenging for many, Meadow Ridge even provided me with helpful literature to guide us through the process which I continue to utilize as a resource. I think any community will have its ups and downs, and every person will adjust on a different time table, but I can say I feel my mom is well supported and cared for at Meadow Ridge and we are so grateful.

My father has been living at Meadow Ridge for over a year. He has nothing but praise for the staff and the care they provide to him. He enjoys their friendly demeanor and loves to chat with them and knows that they really care about his well-being. He has met several men and enjoys taking meals with them and the social time with his new found friends has helped with the loneliness that came with the lockdowns. Speaking of lockdowns - Meadow Ridge was very responsible regarding covid and keeping their residents safe. Thank G-d my father was never sick and he got his vaccines and that process was very efficient. The office staff and the nursing staff are excellent and keep his medications and appointments on schedule. He really enjoys Mary Kay and her lovely personality who oversees the front desk. I have only had a great professional relationship with Anne the manager at MeadowRidge. She made the process of moving in seemless. And lastly, my father is now enjoying the food served in the dining room. He says its good and he even sometimes takes seconds, especially the desserts. A big thank you to all of you at MeadowRidge that go over and above the call of duty!

My mother has been a resident at Meadow Ridge Senior Living for a couple years, in the assisted living wing. While certainly not perfect - not a single senior home is - her overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The building itself is very nice with pleasing traditional decor, the administrative team and the nurses go to great lengths to make the residents comfortable, the food is good, there have not been any major snafus with my mothers care and medications, and its a huge plus that they have a gerontology-oriented medical team that comes on-site (I think weekly?) so I no longer have to deal with endless medical appointments and transportation. I also have to commend them on their handling of COVID-19, there were several cases but it didnt spread and as of right now they are COVID free. Whenever I visit I feel relief that my mother is in a safe and caring environment.

Meadow Ridge Senior Living is centrally located in Golden Valley. It is closed to downtown Minneapolis and located between highway 100 and 169. Our family chose meadow ridge over other senior living facility for my grandmother due to the location, friendly staff, great food and a beautiful atmosphere. The staff love my grandma and she has met a lot of nice residents. She looks playing bingo and attending outings. My grandma came to Meadow Ridge for a home. She was unsure she would like living at the community but quickly said it was the best decision she had made. She loves interacting with people and not feeling scared living alone anymore. She said that she would recommend this community to anyone looking for a nice place to live. Thank you to all the staff and residents at Meadow Ridge for making this a great transition for my grandma!

My grandfather lives at meadow ridge and I can finally say he has found himself a great home. We had switched from 2 other assisted livings because they were not to his liking. He is very particular about his living environment. I've been to the facility 5 times and each time I go there I get welcomed by the staff. I've been invited to eat dinner there from the Chef himself, and I was kind of surprised because that sort of thing has never happened to me before. I was lucky because the food was really good. Definitely am going to ask grandpa if I can come and meet him for dinner again sometime.
