Global Pointe Senior Living has been a great place for my parent. I can continue to maintain a work-life-family balance while still providing care in the evening and on weekends. It is a safe, comfortable place to live while receiving all the assistance required with medications and tasks of daily living: provided by caring and competent staff. Communication at all levels with all those who provide service at the Golden Valley location is excellent. I appreciate Global Pointe Senior Living and hopefully I'll have the chance to live there in the future!

Having moved many people into GlobalPointe I can say I recommend this community highly. The staff is very attentive to their resident's needs. They follow up on requests quickly and efficiently. They are very warm and welcoming GlobalPointe point is also a beautiful community. The apartments have very high quality finishes and are spacious. People have been happy after making a move to GlobalPointe.

My father-in-law is not getting the care that he should. They have missed getting him up and dressed for breakfast several times, He has fallen there two times, one resulting in a hip fracture where he was on the floor for over an hour and a half and nobody knew.. We have a camera in his room and have called to alert them of something that's wrong and nobody answers the phone. Then they changed the number to call, but did not forward the existing phone number or have the message let people know that there's a different number to call. It's a beautiful place aesthetically. But that is not enough. He is not thriving and staff are not available/attentive enough.

When I moved to my Global Pointe home when it first opened, I was seriously ill (and quite honestly very cranky on some days). This led to some rough spots early on, and the staff handled each situation with grace and kindness. More importantly to me, the staff has continued to work hard to respond to all requests quickly and reasonably. Even though I’ve regained my health and could return to a regular apartment, I’m so happy with this home I decided to stay at Global Pointe. Great location, beautiful facility, and friendly, competent team.

I love this place. My only complaint is that the new apartment next to them. One entrance for both places. The younger people that live there think they can drive in and out of there like they own the whole area. I’ve come very close to getting into arguments with them.

My mother lives here. It is a small facility but has a disproportionate number of activities. The staff is responsive. The culture of the residents is kind and inclusive. The apartments are nice and the place looks like a modern apartment building. There was a period of a few months when they (and probably the entire industry) had a lot of trouble keeping housekeeping, nursing, and kitchen staff. I asked for and received a refund of housekeeping fees. They seem to have it worked out now and the new staff is wonderful.

Independent living is affordable. The staff have been friendly and responsive to my requests. The residents are growing into a community. The facility is clean and well maintained. I am very comfortable living here.

My wife and I have been residents at Global Pointe Senior Living for one year, and feel it is an appropriate time to post a review of our experience. We were initially attracted to the location with its proximity to the downtowns of the Twin Cities, where we have frequent activities, What struck us immediately, upon entering the building, is the decor and ambience. The decorating is attractive and welcoming, and exists throughout the building. An abundance of open space is available for informal gathering with other residents, entertaining, and having family meals. There are additional spaces for more formal activities. These more formal activities are scheduled throughout the week, and attract a variety of interests. There is available age and ability appropriate exercise, which is important to us. Even in this COVID year, the Activities Director has been able to engage the residents while observing public health guidelines. The staff has been welcoming and attentive. Although my wife and I are very independent, we have observed those needing assistance, and that assistance is very professional and caring. Respect for the residents and their autonomy seems paramount. Lastly, we cant end this without commenting on the food. It is one of the highlights, with a varied menu, fresh ingredients, and preparation in-house.

I may be biased but I have found Global Pointe Senior Living in Golden Valley to be an excellent fit for my 86 year old Mom. She has lived in one other senior building and I have found Global Pointe to be a really great home for her. First the caregiving team has been just excellent. My Mom needs a lot of assistance and she uses a walker. She definitely needs help dressing in the morning and with the other normal tasks of every day life like eating her meals on time and taking her pills. The staff at Global Pointe has been especially helpful. It gives me peace of mind that they have such an experienced care team watching her and assisting her every day. Second, I have found that she really loves the menu and the great tasting food. In her other building the food was very bland and institutional. In this building it seems like they make a lot of food from scratch. It makes me feel better knowing that she isnt skipping meals because she enjoys the food. Third, the ambiance, feel and design of Global Pointe is impressive. It feels like a nice condominium building. The lobby has an impressive fountain and a great seating area with a fireplace. I never feel like I am walking into a senior building. The hallways are well lit and all the décor is very upbeat. It makes my Mom feel really positive about living there. Fourth, the programming and amenities in the building make it an even better home for my Mom. She loves the movie theatre. She seems to join some of the other residents for a film or television mini-series most afternoons. The programing at the building seems to cover a wide range of interests which is very important to me. They featured a documentary on Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I got my Mom enrolled in the book club. It seems like the calendar is pretty full each day for her. It gives her the opportunity to participate and have fun. Fifth, the location in Golden Valley at I-394 and Highway 100 makes the buildings location very central. The most important thing is that my Mom is happy in the building. Plus the building is brand new so everything in the building looks great and is updated. They have a friendly staff and they make sure my Mom has everything she needs. I feel like she is safe and the fact that she is happy and comfortable in the building makes me know we made the right decision when she moved into Global Pointe.
