All of the 1 and 2 bedroom residences available feature some of the largest floor plans available in Excelsior. Our rooms are designed for seniors to be comfortable and have private bathrooms. We have an experienced and trained staff to serve the unique needs of our senior residents living in Excelsior. We promote our employees to serve with compassion, kindness and patience. The selection of meals at The Waters of Excelsior are the results of many years of experience crafting menus. I could hardly wait for the plans to be approved. I was the first one in the Excelsior office to reserve an apartment and could hardly wait for the building to be finished. I was among the first to move in, describing my mood as ecstatic. It's like a luxurious reward for whatever I've managed to do in my life. I love the sunniness and quiet of my apartment. I love the possibility of emerging to see friends when I want to. The food is fabulous. I even loved the quarantined period. Now that we're getting back to normal I'm grateful for the wonderful job the staff did of protecting our health while providing us with service to make it more comfortable. it's like being on a perpetual cruise except we're not floating on water. What else can I say? I am thoroughly happy that I chose to move here. I even like renting after all the years of dealing with owning a house. My only complaint, I have a hard time getting people to grant me my full name -- Mona Gustafson Affinito.

The Waters Excelsior has been the best experience for my parents! They made the decision to move there over two years ago. The staff at The Waters has exceeded all of our expectations. Friendly to residents and family members, going out of their way to touch base on a personal level shows their compassion for their residents. During the pandemic, The Waters has remained nearly 100% Covid free, implementing creative solutions to engage residents while following strict guidelines to maintain a healthy and happy community. We look forward to when our families can visit together again and enjoy the wonderful meals served in the restaurant on site. Fantastic job to all - thank you for taking such good care of my parents!!!

My mother is currently a resident at The Waters of Excelsior and has been for almost three years. In Sept 2020, we moved my mother from her third floor apartment to the first floor Specialty Care Unit. The move has given our family peace of mind, her needs are better met and we know she is in great hands! I think the staff does an incredible job, especially during these challenging times with Covid. I appreciate the daily activities that are made available to the residents and how each holiday, special events and even your birthday are made very special by the staff.

My mom and dad moved into The Waters in October (from out of state, to be near their kids)and I couldnt be happier. The staff has been amazing, the residents have been welcoming and they have a great apartment. I need to give a special shout out to Christina Newton. She has a heart of gold.

This is a wonderful place to live! I love The Waters of Excelsior! The staff is amazing. Lori Nugent, Active Life Manager has terrific activities for us every month. Ive made beautiful jewelry, painted pictures, and before the Pandemic we went to Art Museums, movies, restaurants, a llama farm, a horse ranch, played cards regularly, & had wonderful exercises every morning that help me a lot. I feel extremely fortunate to live at this beautiful place. Everyone is super friendly. The food is delicious! I never thought Id be having such a good time every day at my age. You dont need a car, which is wonderful because I dont drive anymore. Before the Pandemic the Waters bus took us for groceries & to Target once a week. Lori thinks of ways we can do things seated 6 ft apart, wearing masks. Life is good at The Waters of Excelsior!!!!

The Waters of Excelsior is a wonderful place! Clean, bright, with caring energetic staff. It has been a blessing to have our mom living there. During COVID they have done a phenomenal job of keeping the community safe & helping us maintain contact in these very difficult times.

The Waters is all yould hope for in your senior years! Theres plenty to do as long as you take advantage of all the activities listed on the weekly schedule. I couldnt ask for more.Theres only one thing I wish theyd do differently. No one must budget for Christmas lights and someone to place (hang) them, as they do for Shorewood Landing just down the road from The Waters. We look like a poor step-sister in comparison.

My mom moved into The Waters of Excelsior a little over a year ago and we both have been overwhelmed by the amazing staff, delicious food, and fun activities. It was a big transition for her to move from her big home to apartment living, but the high ceilings, beautiful kitchen and good sized laundry room made things much easier. She loves her apartment. I look forward to living there someday!
