My mother has lived at Margaret Place for almost two years now. Although she is private and does little in the activity department, there are many wonderful activities for residents to be involved in. It has been a great place, friendly residents AND staff; great meals are made in the cafeteria, VERY clean, and beautiful landscaping. Even many animals to watch out her window. GREAT place!!

November 2022. Another year has gone by since we posted the review under this one. We feel exactly the same as we wrote then. I did not mention there is also a Beauty shop here, an exercise room, library, and soon to be a Craft room. How lucky are we to live here. Come and check out Margaret Place. You will not be disappointed! My husband and I have lived here for almost 2 years. The staff is awesome. If something needs fixed it's done timely. There are so many activities, games, outings (fun and grocery shopping). The grounds are kept very nice. There are areas to sit and visit. There is a little creek and wooded area with walking paths. Occasionally we see deer and many wild turkeys, birds , rabbits and squirrels. The tenants are very friendly, many play games, go to healthy exercise 3 times a week, eat in the cafe. Margaret Place is fun, healthy and clean. Come join us!

Margaret Place has been my home for many years and I consider it my extended family. We have a bus that takes us shopping twice a week as well as to outings in the community, even to the casino. There are daytime activities such as exercise, educational programs, music programs, nondenominational church service and birthday dinners. In the evening there are different games and of course Bingo. Something for everyone.

I have lived here with my mom for about 5 years. The people and staff are very friendly. They have a lot of fun activities for my mom to attend and keep her busy as she wants to be.

My mom moved in last Dec. Every time I went to visit her the sidewalks/parking lot were covered in snow/ice. I called, nothing got done. My 78 y/o mom is out there shoveling so "people worse off" (her words) can get to their cars. They told her she could bring food back to her place, but then when she went to do that they told her she couldn't use Tupperware cuz "it's unsanitary" but she is supposed to carry her entire dinner back to her apt on a lunch tray?!? It is not cheap to live here, but the place is OLD, I mean OLD. The oven looks like it's from the mid 70s and the floors are peeling up. For the price they charge it should be a lot nicer! The living room window is so far back from the wall that my mom has to stand on a stool just to open and close the blinds. Look elsewhere - they do NOT care about the residents, just their money! The actual employees are wonderful, but the corporate people are cold and uncaring.
