Sometimes the communication isn't the best but it's getting better. I do believe that staff should have training to deal with dementia which is not the case from what I know. Staff seems to care about the residents.

I have loved working at new perspective as a caregiver/CNA! The co-workers and residents are absolutely the best part about my job. This job is very rewarding due to the many cares given to these residents for there everyday needs. It feels like home whenever I work and such the nice things that management does! Whether it’s the team members or residents they are all wonderful! I love my job at new perspective!

I have a mixed review. While the staff of friendly and verbalize their willingness to carry out requests, I see a lack in follow through. My dad is in your memory care unit. He really does not like it there. I know he has had frequent issues and has been taken by ambulance to the hospital a few times due to acting out and falls. It seems the staff should be well trained in problems with dementia patients, yet we get calls to de-escalate outbursts with my dad. Is there a shortage of staff? Also, I have requested his care plan over 10 days ago and have followed up no less then 6 times without any results. Again, verbal agreements from staff to make sure this is happening but no follow through. I know some of his medical needs regarding his heart are not being addressed and I am unable to view his care plan. I have done all that was requested of me to get this. This facility is extremely expensive. I expect way more from you. We are considering a move.

We couldnt have had a more pleasant experience when dealing with the difficult decision of moving Dad into an assisted living facility. We started our search on a Sunday evening and were looking for a small rural community so Dad could be in familiar surroundings. We received a phone call that same Sunday putting us in touch with the team in Cloquet. Rachel and Ross have been instrumental in getting Dad from rehab into assisted living with little effort on our behalf. Rachel and Ross worked directly with Dads physicians and the rehab center, as well as with the social workers and physical therapists who were working with Dad. They responded immediately with questions or concerns we had, they were always available. The move was seamless and we are relieved to know that Dad is in a safe place with staff that know his name and neighbors who have coffee every morning with Dad. Ted and Cheryl

I have had the best experience with new perspective. My father in-law is in there and they have gave him the best care possible. And they treated the family with the up most respect anyone could want. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who wants their loved to be taken care of until the end.

I visit often and have found the staff to be truly caring and treating each resident and family member with respect and care. I watch the staff go out of their way to make sure the each resident can attend the activities they wish. The facility is up to date and always clean and organized. This is a professionally run and a caring facility.
