My mother has been at Edgemont for the last two years. She has been taken care by the care givers like their own mother. I have been to different nursing homes and alzimer homes but never seen a loving caring people like this facility. Their Nurses are unbelievably spot on all the time. Especially Melissa. My mother is at her end of the time now. We are blessed to find this place for my mother.

My father was living at Edgemont Place Alzheimer's Special Care Center for the past year. We chose the beautiful facility near our families so we could support him, and had read positive reviews. We found that the staff was well-equipped to work with the residents as they understood Alzheimer's patients. We found the interactions to be caring, compassionate and positive between staff and residents. The staff was friendly and welcoming to our family as well, as we visited often. Dad was in a safe environment, and accommodations were made to meet his needs. Our journey with Edgemont continued to be one of mutual respect and kindness until he recently passed away.

I would not advise anyone to send a family member to this place. Very poorly run. Staff is very bad to deal with all around.

My mother has lived her for about a year. We pulled her out of another facility as the care was not good (my sister is a RN). The staff here are great, there are nurses on staff - not just the day shift. I should add the kitchen chef and staff even take the time to get to know the residents, and the food is good. It is a smaller facility so it has more of a home feel. Please do not pick a facility because it is nice and large, we made that mistake at the last place. My mother is safe and well cared for here, all that we can ask.

The staff at Edgemont became family as they took care of both my Dad and Mom. My father was diagnosed with Alzheimers and my mother with dementia. We were able to keep them in the same facility and when needed, a variety of living arrangements were available to us ( same room, adjoining room, separate room). The staff was caring and willing to make adjustments as they were needed. When we had questions or concerns we were able to have them addressed and worked as a team to figure out what was best for my parents. Anyone dealing with ALZ-Dementia knows there are no perfect solutions-answers, each day is different, but what I do know is that my parents were loved by the staff at Edgemont and that love spilled over and touched our entire family.

This community is the only one I found for my father that staff actually understood his disease. The staff receive specialized training and it shows once you walk in for a tour. I have learned a lot about Dententia from the staff at the community. It also helps the food is really good. 5 stars.

Our family was so appreciative of the wonderful care our dad received from the amazing staff at Edgemont. Each and every staff there demonstrated how much they cared, not only for our dad, but for his family as well. we will be forever grateful for the care they provided.I will be recommending Edgemont to everyone who has a loved one with dementia.
