My sister and I were looking for a place for our mother after we found she could no longer go home and live, she is 93 and said she never wanted to leave her home for her home was good to her. This was very hard to do, but as soon as we walked into the building, we were so impressed and didn't look any further for we knew in our hearts this was the place for our mom, and we are helicopter children. We expect our mother to be treated with respect and to be cared for just like she did with others and her children all her life. This was the best move we made; I love everyone at Benedictine. My mother now calls Benedictine her home and is very happy with all of the Aides, Nurses and ALL staff. The food is fantastic, the people that already live there are wonderful, and the staff is fantastic. If you are looking for a safe, loving place for your parent to live, this is the place. Our mom now thinks of Benedictine as her home and feels safe.

I love working At Benedictine-Anoka. We have a small town family feel that is professional and competent. Our staff is the best! We care about our residents here and we invite anyone to come visit us and tour for yourself.

I love River Oaks for my mom. She is comfortable, safe and loved there. She has improved because she has the social life of a 20 yr old. Enjoys the activities and the intimate size of this place

This is a great place for Seniors. There is always something to do for them and they give them lots of choices and a restaurant if they choose eat out. The staff there are Fantastic. They are very caring, understanding with needs, willing to help when needed and always greet you with a smile!!!

My father has lived in River Oaks for 5 years after being diagnosed with mild Alzheimers, current age is 94. He adjusted well, and is quite happy with his quality of life, his apartment and maintaining as much of an independent lifestyle, despite his health concerns. From a family perspective, we have been pleased that Dad is in an environment that cares about his overall well-being, not only from keeping him connected socially and with day to day skills, which has served to slow the progression on Alzheimers. After 5 years, he continues to live in a private apartment, attends social activities and dining and navigates the building like a pro. The staff of River Oaks from top - down has been of great support, advise and advocacy in this cycle of his life.
