I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Hampton Manor of Woodhaven. From the Admission Specialist to the Resident Care Coordinators, and everyone else who gives such good care to the residents, you will not be disappointed! Their incredible activities program and wonderful dietary department make living here a joy. I would highly recommend Hampton Manor of Woodhaven for your loved one!

Final update at bottom of this review. April 2022 Plenty of food, place is clean, entertainment is wonderful, staff is great, attitude is wonderful sooooo, I am STILL satisfied with this facility. There are many caregivers during the day and should be at least two during sleeping time. This place is not a nursing home and they have a set guideline on who they can accept as residents to their place. Not all are qualified. January 2023 Mom is happily living in her forever place with amazing services from their staff. Couldn’t ask for any more. December 2023 This place meets my mom’s needs, from independent living to memory care until she goes home to meet my dad up in heaven. When she broke her second hip, the staff and office crew worked with me to make adjustments and changes to fit her current needs. They could’ve evicted mom since she was out of her room for over a month but they respectfully locked her room for safe keeping until she returned from rehab. The bonus was, I didn’t have to bounce mom from one facility to another, or do research in such a short time if I had to mover her elsewhere. Mom is now in Memory care and ever since she moved in from the very beginning, I have seen this facility grown to their near capacity of residents. I see happy residents and yes, some sad ones because they were forced to adapt after living in their previous homes. Mom is staying! And I am HAPPY! Update: End of 2023, the cat was removed for unknown reason and we are sad about this. Final Update: January 2026 My mother lived the rest of her life in Hampton Manor. She arrived when it was opened only less than a month until last fall of 2025. This place, I’ll admit, is not perfect but the grass is NOT always greener at the other side. There were a few issues that could’ve been better but due to the type of the facility and program that they offered, I adapted to them. I did questioned once in a while and most of the time, they were taken care of. My opinion of this place is based on my visits and observations from the past 4 years Yes, I have seen turn overs of the staff (more than to my liking), many physical changes as of decoration and layouts. Activity programs were very involved, even in memory care. Their food program has been customized for each resident in memory care so the staff DO care about the residents. They even have a beauty salon so they would continue to feel beautiful. Staff loved my mom, enjoyed seeing her walking in the halls and they acknowledged her and everyone else as well. They took care of her needs as needed and even fed her during her last days. Mom was put on hospice a couple months prior to her day and the service was good, gave her more attention and even had a religious person to visit her. Hospice woman even kept in touch with me and up to date. Transition from her forever home to eternity was smooth and loving. I certainly received so many hugs that I felt content knowing that we made the right decision for her to live there. This place deserves a chance to take care of your loved ones. Thank you Hampton Manor for taking care of mom up to her last days. I am content and happy that her stay made her children feel confident knowing that she was safe, fed and stayed comfortable.

I absolutely would not recommend this place. There are ZERO licensed medical staff in this facility and the staff that do work here have zero understanding of current regulations regarding elder care. Thankfully, my family removed my loved one from this facility as she lost over 20 pounds in 2 months being in memory care. She was sedated and left in a geri chair for days. Yes, for days! She slept in the chair! The place is pretty inside and the staff are nice, but they have no idea what they are doing. I beg you to look for a different facility!

Moving my mom into assisted living was one of the hardest decisions our family has had to make, but Hampton Manor of Woodhaven made the process so much easier. From day one, the staff was kind, patient, and really took the time to listen to our concerns. The place feels more like a home than a facility. It's clean, welcoming, and has a peaceful atmosphere. My mom is doing great there — she’s more social, eating better, and always tells us how nice everyone is. We’re thankful every day we found this community.

I entered my mother into the Memory Care unit at Hampton Manor of Woodhaven and, unfortunately, had very poor care. While the staff are all very friendly, they do not seem to be trained very well at all. My mother was sent to the ER 3 times in 3 weeks and lost over 20 pounds at this facility in just over 40 days. I complained to the Executive Director of this facility and his response was to refuse to allow my mother back into the facility even though I had stated to him I would be moving her out in 5 days. I pray that no one else has to go through this experience and would recommend you stay away from this facility.

Updated April 2025 A lot of turnover in this business, both staff and management. And even more so in poorly run facilities. The former friend/ neighbor looked great within a short time likely because of a person’s home care being so poor prior to moving into a 24/7 care facility. Needless to say, I moved my loved one in and out twice. Hampton Manors do an excellent job with activities and room accommodations for a fair price (considering). We tried the new one in Carleton and it was a disaster on all accounts. I wish you well in your search. It’s a tough time for everyone who needs this support and assistance. .. Original post.. Stopped by to visit a friend and former neighbor and was amazed how great she looked and how happy she was! She has been a resident for a couple months now and the care she is receiving shows she is being well taken care of. In such a short time, she looked physically healthier and emotionally stronger and happier than the eight years I’ve known her.

I would rate this place zero if I could. My mother in-law lives there. Her Bathroom had blood on the floor that has been there for over a week and they seldom vacuum the carpet. Staff on all 3 shifts but not very good. If you care about your loved ones do not live in this place. The food is not the greatest and the staff makes up excuses about why they could not get work done.

My friend entered Hampton Manor of Woodhaven on March 25th the whole staff here has been so helpful and kind. Always happy to help, both to myself and all those visit my friend. I have had comments from all that visit, 'This is such a lovely place and the staff is so helpful! My friend with the help of management and staff have helped her as she adjust to a new home and I am so very grateful!

Hampton Manor has been wonderful! I looked all over the local area at similar facilities for my mother and I concluded there is nothing comparable. Yes, it’s a new building but that’s not what makes it great. It’s the staff and how they care about and relate to residents. The activities are comprehensive and there are lots of opportunities for interaction among residents. Hampton Manor Woodhaven is really special!

My mom was a resident of Hampton Manor there are some great caregivers and most of the people that work there care so much but the management is the problem they do not have their act together. They promised many things and in their contract it says they are able to keep your loved one until the end of days don't believe it. They usually have two care givers at night for all of their residents many loved one's wait hours to be taken to the bathroom don't be fooled by the looks of the place looks are definitely deiceving. Moving a 84 year old out of a routine and a place where they have friends is just cruel. If your parent or loved one needs a lift or any mechanical device to get them up this is not the place for them.
