I am happy to share my review of the Westland House. I struggled for a year or so To find a place for my mother. I made phone calls and looked at several places, But there was always issues whether it was horrible odors, poor cleanliness of the facility, rude staff or my favorite hidden fees and charges. We sent an appointment up with Chris to tour the facility, And into my surprise, I was blown away when I walked into the Westland House. As soon as I walked through the doors, I was impressed. No disgusting odors to be smelled the residence Were happy and waiting to get into the dining area to have lunch, which I might add the food there is phenomenal. The staff was happy, pleasant, cheerful, welcoming. We sat down and talked with Chris, And I Was totally in shock by How pleasant, honest, straightforward, and Very Transparent he was about everything. Needless to say after talking with Chris Touring the facility, And meeting some staff members, we chose to place my mother at the Westland House. She has been there a month. She has adjusted very well. she has made new friends, and she loves the staff, she really loves the Food, and there is always some sort of fun activity, or some event that the staff tries to engage the residence in. When it comes to placing a loved one, It's definitely a difficult decision and hard to do,, But after talking with Chris And him being honest, straightforward, and transparent, it was an easy decision to choose the Westland House. I gave them five stars, only because that's all I had to choose from. I would give them a 10 out of 10.. I would also like to give a 10 star review for All the staff I would like to make special mention not only to Chris For being an honest, straightforward person That truly cares about the residence and the families of the residence, but I'd like Also recognize Jeanae, shayna and Jasmine. Those Three ladies are phenomenal They also care not only about the residence, but the families of the residence. I would highly recommend The Westland House to anyone Looking to place their loved ones. Chris And his whole staff have love and care for the residents and their families and make you feel like part Their family.

My mom has been in her apartment for going on a year..not happy with the cleaning she has ants and there checking into it. I don't like all people sitting in the lobby..they should have a separate room for activities. It looks like God's waiting room. The staff do my mom because she's a fall risk.

I am very pleased to share my experience with The Westland House. Very nice & clean place, much more then I expected. Chris has been wonderful with my Dad & I. It all happen so quick and they delivered! So far, I would like to say to the whole entire staff, Thank You. friendly, and very kind and more times than not more helpful than I think they realize they are. I was asked to try the food and I'm going to say it was amazing. My dad gets three home-cooked meals, a day and snacks. They always have some thing for the residents to do And take part of. I feel so much better now than I know my dad is not living on his own and has All the amenities that helps him function for a better life, I think that if you decide that, maybe your parent needs something like this, I would definitely check it out "The Westland House." My brothers and I, and our family and friends are very happy to go there and visit. %

Having worked in Assisted Living facilities for the past decade, I can honestly and professionally say that The Westland House delivers! Chris, the owner, Wanda the executive director and staff have been kind, caring and professional. Senior Luving is a tough business and they do their best to ensure their residents are well taken care of, happy to be living there and socially engaged. Our family had a slight hiccup earlier in mom's stay...Chris and Wanda eradicated the problem..Mom is so happy.. We havent seen her like this in a long time. Keep up the great job!

This community has improved 1000% since the new owners became involved. From the renovations to the staff and my goodness the food! They have also kept the pricing the most affordable around. Things keep getting better, thank you and keep it up!!

Loved the place, that is, until we just now got all the cards back we sent our mother TWO YEARS AGO while she was alive and living there. She was never given the cards since the day she moved in there. My sister, who lives out of state, is in tears thinking that Mom never knew she thought of her and sent her cards and photos all the time. This is disgraceful and we can't help but wonder how many other lonely, elderly folks are sitting there thinking they aren't hearing from their loved ones? Shame on you, Marquette House!

i worked here as a resident aide 20-21 for a while it went through many changes, i absolutely loved this job from the time i started till the time I left & im sure everything is better now that someone hands on and straight forward is in charge now that it's 2022. i honestly felt really connected to this place, and also the residents i loved to see them smile. Wanda is very lovely. Chris is very lovely he's was the new owner. i left because it got overwhelming only because at some point there wasnt really any staff besides that everything was okay. It really almost sucks to not be apart of how things are. all the shifts are nice to work tho, flexible schedule Wanda understands and listens. Residents got snacks daily showers all meals are great the kitchen staff are nice and in routine. they have activities with the residents. you can have pets very relaxing. meds and insulin were made sure to be taken care of. 10/10 a good place to work & live. Care and living is great.

The staff are very friendly. Wanda does a great job at making sure to help with any questions and is very good at returning calls. My uncle is in great hands with the staff. The new owners are doing great job at bring the Westland house to the next level of care. Very pleased

On my visit to check out the newly refurbished, The Westland, I was pleasantly surprised by all the great changes. The interior is totally redone and is cosy and welcoming. The staff was very courteous and helpful
