I am currently in rehab at Lourdes Senior Community. I had spent a couple of stay's at the hospital and came here to get therapy and get stronger. I can't say enough about the staff... from nurses to office administrator. Everyone has been very helpful and friendly. My great grandmother, and my grandmother both were at Lord’s at almost the same time and the care that they both received was honestly more than I could ever ask for for my grandparents. I am truly grateful and satisfied with the love and the care that they received and that we received every time we came to visit they are so happy there. They love their daily activities and they praise about the staff every time we come and see them, which is on a weekly basis. Thank you to the Lord’s community for treating our family like they are their own. God bless you all.

Recently my 91 yr old mother was released from the hospital and transferred to Lourdes for further rehabilitation. The Physical Therapy department was absolutely amazing, and my 91 yr old mother quickly overcame her broken bones with their help to progress to walking again. The help and nursing care was awesome. Given the fact that my mom has experienced 2 other rehab centers in the past, I understand the difference from an okay place and a very good one. I very highly recommend Lourdes community, especially for physical therapy and rehabilitation.

My mom moved into an apartment in Fox Manor at Lourdes 3 weeks ago. The halls, dining room, laundry, trash area and all other areas within the building are kept very clean. She enjoys eating her meals in the dining room. The staff is beyond helpful, kind and incredibly patient with everyone. She has been made to feel so welcome by staff and residents alike!

I have spent 2 separate stays for rehabilitation at Lourdes in the last year, following 2 separate hip surgeries. I found the accommodations clean and comfortable. All the staff are friendly and compassionate. The office staff and PT staff are well educated and in formed on your specific needs and treatment requirements. The communication is excellent and they make it known that they are there to meet your needs and help you to get back to your best self. I can’t say enough about the nursing staff. They are cheerful, supportive and encouraging. That is very important on a daily basis, when you are trying to rehabilitate. Should I ever need Rehab again, Lourdes would be my first and only choice! I wanted to thank all of the staff from cooks and cleanup, to administrators and caretakers. Thank you for everything the entire staff did for my grandpa during his stay at Lourdes. Initially we thought it would be a difficult transition from independent living to Lourdes, but my grandpa quickly adjusted and I believe that was a result of both residents and staff. He enjoyed the activities, the company and the beautiful grounds. As is often the case, things were difficult for my grandpa in the end, and still, the staff couldn't have been more supportive and overall fantastic! I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone for helping my family and my grandpa through the transitions that arise as life passes and so often gets more difficult. So thank you all again for being such a great organization. I will always suggest Lourdes for anyone I know that could benefit from the services. Thank you so much for making the remaining time my Gramp had the best it could be!

As a family, we made the difficult decision to move my mother into assisted living. My mother moved into Mendelson Assisted Living in November 2023 and transitioned to Clausen Manor in January 2025. She entered into hospice care in July and passed away in September all while living at Clausen Manor. We experienced nothing but respect and gentle care given to our Mom. The last week of her life was met with compassion, active listening from the staff as to mom’s as well as our family’s needs and privacy given when needed. Communication was fantastic as I live 45 minutes away and couldn’t be there all the time. She passed surrounded by love of family plus staff. Hugs were given generously and genuinely. I’m so very grateful that we found the absolutely perfect place for the last chapter of her journey. I can’t recommend this true community enough 5++++ stars.

Mom had a great experience at Lourdes! She actually was able to get 6 weeks of rehab, very unusual! The rehab staff was excellent, and most all other staff was wonderful! The one drawback is the food. It is not good at all! Besides that, staff is friendly, helpful and rehabbing is topnotch! Mom also had a phenomenal RN!

I was contracted by Right at Home Oakland to assist a resident with additional help whom was staying at Lourdes Senior Community; the staff is very professional, knowledgeable and kind. As a third party looking in I was beyond impressed by their work here. Although I am not looking to utilize this rehabilitation center for any services, I am impressed enough to give my best opinion to anyone that is looking for such services.

I was in rehab at Lourdes a few times between 2/2019 and 2022. At that time, many of the nursing assistants were rude, acting like they didn’t really care about their patients. If anything happened that interrupted their work, they berated me. Mary Ann wouldn’t take me to the toilet because you just went. I couldn’t control when I had to go because I was on diuretics. Some of the Jamaican staff said that they couldn’t take me to the toilet because they were passing trays. There should be staff designated for different tasks during those times. The problems occurred on day and afternoon shifts. Midnight shift was excellent!! The therapy staff did not bill my insurance correctly. I would have one therapist walk with me while another one would push the wheelchair behind me. I was then told that I would have no more therapy for the day because they had already used my allotted time. Because I didn’t get the therapy time that I should have received, I was not as strong as I should have been when discharged. Each time I left Lourdes, I fell at home within two weeks of discharge. For the past two times in subacute rehab, I have gone to Lake Orion Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. There, I have received the therapy time the insurance company has designated. It was at least 6 MONTHS after discharge from that facility before I experienced a fall after each episode!! Due to these experiences at Lourdes, I am reluctant to return there, even though it is only 10 minutes from my home and must much easier for my family to visit.

Wow what can I say about Lourdes Sr. Community. . . .they are fantastic. My husband had a recent two week stay for physical therapy rehab. The ENTIRE staff was amazing!!! The care they gave him was exceptional! Always smiling and welcoming. Physical Therapists were over the top. The food was good and if there was ever something you didn't like, there are other options to choose from. The grounds around the campus are beautiful and the trails are easy to walk, even with a walker or wheelchair. I feel all the residents there were well taken care of and never heard a complaint.

Lourdes Senior Center really deserves 10 stars! My husband was there for almost two weeks and we have no complaints at all. The entire staff - including housekeeping was great! Always welcomed us with a smile, checked on our well being and made sure we were comfortable. The other residents also looked happy. The grounds around Lourdes were very nice and well kept up. It was a blessing to be able to take my husband by wheelchair outside and walk around the grounds. I would recommend Lourdes to everyone!

In May of this year I fell and broke my arm and wrist. After my hospital stay I was fortunate enough to be placed in Lourdes Rehab facility for 2 weeks to recover from the surgery and receive PT and OT towards the goal of going home. Never in my life could I have ever believed that I would have such 24/7 care from the most kind and compassionate staff at Lourdes. From the management staff to the day and night nursing staff and all of the workers who I came to love. Thank you all so much. If it had not been for the OT and PT staff who worked with me daily I would not have been able to come home and even dress myself. You all know who you are - I will never forget you....you renewed my faith in completely selfless souls....what a job you have and only YOU could have done it so well. I just finished a 3 week stay at Lourdes Rehab. It was a wonderful experience. I received excellent care after being a nurse for almost 40 years myself, I know what good care is! And the views of the lake and the wildlife out my window made me feel like I was on vacation. I went in after a major surgery and I was kept pain free 99% of the time. I Would highly recommend them!

I went to Lourdes for rehab for shoulder surgery. The staff are amazing. After rehab. I moved into their Independent Living. which is right next door. I feel like I'm living at a resort. Here again, the staff is amazing, the food is first class, activities are plentiful. All my needs are met. It's a bit of heaven.

When my father was here I felt he received the best care from the early shift only the late shift told him not to ring for them I’m telling this because if you have loved ones here I interested if this behavior still goes on. Please have a family member check everyday to make sure your loved one is cared for and their needs are met. Most staff were friendly he liked the food and he was kept clean and no odor’s in the building.

It is our honor to share a 4 star rating for Lourdes Rehab Senior Living Community. My husband had a stroke in 2021. He has been in and out of several hospitals and rehab centers. However, in April he was in rehab and then asked to stay as a resident. I can with my whole heart share there is NO place like Lourdes with their engaged Leadership Team caring and very knowledgeable nurses not to mention all the amazing CNAs who work tirelessly to care for the residence. My 90 year old dad has been at Lourdes twice for rehab after hospitalization. He received great care from all the staff at Lourdes. The rehab team is amazing-he came home much better and stronger than when he came in. The nursing staff provided kind, compassionate care and was very responsive to his needs. I am a RN and I am very pleased with services he received and would recommend Lourdes as a great option for senior care.

Lourdes has provided very compassionate and gentle care to my nearly 98 year old mother. She went to Lourdes just before Covid struck and the staff went above and beyond to assist my mom with window visits using their own cell phones so we could talk and see each other through the window. My mom suffers prom progressive severe dementia but the staff continue to talk to her, hug her and ensure she is well cared for. They treat my mom as if she is one of their own family members. Thank You for your on going loving and tender care. I have NEVER regretted placing my mom at Lourdes and have recommened this facility to many!!

Lourdes Senior Community is a wonderful place for aging adults. We toured the facility and were very impressed how one facility can take care of all your health needs. The campus is on a lake surrounded by beautiful trees, which gives a sense of peace and calmness. My grandma was at Lourdes Senior Community for almost 3 years. I can honestly say I felt a huge sense of comfort having her at Lourdes as I know the staff is so caring and we’re great with her (she was 96 and recently passed). No organization is perfect, but you can tell the ones that really care and try to do the best they can. Crazy times we are living in having gone through a pandemic and Lourdes handled it amazing! I have reserved my spot there in the future 🙂

Both my father and sister have spent time at Lourdes Senior Community. Dad in Fox Manor, Mendelson and Lourdes Rehab and my sister at Lourdes Rehab. Great place---all the levels of living were great. Dad moved as his health concerns changed and at each level he received the care he needed and we wanted for him. For my sister, she only was in rehab where she received amazing therapy. The staff was kind and she really enjoyed joking and spending time with many of them. 100% recommend Lourdes Senior Community-for independent living, assisted living, memory care or rehab.

I can't say enough good things about Lourdes Senior Community. My mother was first at the rehabilitation facility there after a fall then moved over to the assisted living home right next door. Both facilities were just wonderful. The staff was caring, patient, knowledgeable and kind. There was always someone checking in on her and doing whatever was needed to make sure she was healthy and happy. I would highly recommend!

My mom was at the rehab center 3 times and lived at the independent living for 2 years. The staff are excellent and the Catholic Mission is evident in all that is done on the campus. My Mom forged close bonds with Sr. Francis Mary and Sr Teresita and enjoyed the daily rosary and catholic mass several times a week. The staff at the rehab center were very focused on quality of life and my Mom was always respected. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms at the nursing home was private with private bath and shower. My Mom passed under hospice on the Lourdes campus and words cannot express the support my Mom and family felt as she transitioned from this world.

So far not impressed with this facility I was transferred here this afternoon. Seems only one nurse for the area I'm in. My medications were over an hour late and I'm still waiting on my asthma treatment. Most people here are nice but they seem overwhelmed and I'm having trouble breathing

Strange place - my mom was there for three nights before I was able to get her moved. She went there for rehab after breaking her hip. Their visitation rules are extremely restrictive, they said because of Covid. This was late June, 2021. Although, I called about ten other local places and they didn't have any of the same restrictions. I couldn't help get my mom settled in, they stopped me at the door and said I had to leave. I had to push to find out what room she would be in, how I would be able to contact her, and how they would know to contact me if something happened. My mom was transported there around 2pm on a Tuesday. They left her in bed the rest of day in her hospital gown. I was able to talk with the social worker the next morning and things improved. Although, no one helped her get dressed or sit up really until the day she left. There was a nurse that was very helpful and found a laptop for my mom to watch a hockey game. I didn't realize how little they were doing for rehab until my mom went to the new location. In fairness, something didn't sit right with me from the beginning and I requested a move the first morning she was there. I'm not sure if rehab would have been any different. The social workers were nice and helpful in getting her moved. I wish I would have known what to expect from a care, rehab, and visitation perspective before she was sent there. The place seems clean. However, it was unsettling and not a match for us.

My mother was there in April of 2020. The facility was clean and spacious. There were a couple of care givers who were wonderful, but overall most of them were not. If you are interested in their rehab facility you need to be very selective on who works with your loved one. They are not all the same. Unfortunately, my mom made very little progress in this facility. She started out ok then they shut down their PT/OT facility due to COVID. That's when her progress stopped and since she wasn't making progress they basically kicked her out of Lourdes in the beginning of a pandemic when every care facility was being locked down. The fact they did that was stunning and really showed me they didn't care about her well being. Thankfully American House in West Bloomfield took mom in until we found Vista Springs Trillium Village closer to my home. Please avoid Lourdes Rehab Center if you want your loved one to get well.
