Our entire family has benefited and been blessed by the exceptional service and care through Jo at Comfort Keepers. Jo brings compassion, kindness and friendship to our almost 95 year old mother. Thursday becomes a bright and happy day of the week to look forward to getting out, chatting and playing games. My mom is delighted to share and engage in new conversations and activities. Recently my mom was interviewed by Kelsey and given such respect while making sure her coverage met her expectations and needs. It was in person and refreshing to see such dedication to in home companionship. I would highly recommend Traverse City's Comfort Keepers to anyone interested in adding a supportive and welcoming visit to lift and maintain both mental wellbeing and physical health. It's truly been a highlight getting acquainted with everyone in the office but especially our dear Jo.

After my Dad passed away in 2014, my Mom decided she wanted to remain in her condo as long as possible. So she enrolled in Comfort Keepers. The quality of care has been outstanding! The program is individualized based on the client's needs. My Mom began with a meal plan delivered to her door. When she could no longer drive, that turned into transportation to the store, Doctor appointments, and anywhere else she needed to go. The next step was a a care giver in the home twice a week. Nicole has not only been a wonderful caregiver /companion for my Mom, but a great communicator to her care coordinator and Mom's family. As my Mom's needs have changed in the past few months, more services have been added. All of the care givers are spot on with their care and assessments of my Moms needs. ( Rheanna!). Kelsey, my Mom's care coordinator not only coordinates other support services my Mom needs, but is in constant communication with me about recommended changes to my Mom's care based on her assessment. Kelsey has visited my Mom several times to ensure she is getting the care she requires as her needs change. And, thanks to the Comfort Keepers amazing team, my Mom is comfortably and happily living in her condo today at 99 years old.

Comfort Keepers has been an amazing organization and has made such a difference in my brother's life as he deals with Parkinson's disease. Comfort keepers, and in particular, Ashley M. has been very helpful, competent, caring and kind. She and the organization have been a God-send and go above and beyond in their care. She truly cares about my bother and his wellbeing. Just want to say thanks for all they do and let them know how much we appreciate them. Mom and Dad LOVED Jeff today! Thank you for sending him over. They just said he worked his tail off and was very polite and respectful. Also, David has worked with my dad for YEARS, and feels like a part of the family! As the daughter of a dad with advanced dementia, I am so impressed with the assistance we are receiving. My wife and I have a family member that has become unable to fully care for himself. The VA hired comfort keepers to help care for him in the home last year. They were just amazing. Caring, thoughtful and professional job. Despite best efforts, this family member eventually needed to move to a facility were he could monitor and care for him with 24 access to assistance. We have moved him to Pinecrest in Mackinaw City. Comfort Keepers has continued to help care for him while living g at Pinecrest. They have done an outstanding job providing housekeeping, caregiving and just being a friend. They take him shopping, to meetings, doctor appointments, etc. They have been a God Send as my wife and I live to far away to provide this level of care. The team there is just incredible. From Tanya who coordinates to operations in Mackinaw City, to the caregiving staff who provide daily care including Mellisa, Ashley, Annette, Jo, and others. They have all stepped up and made a significant difference in our family member's life. Thanks to Jim for picking Ed up at St. Ignace hospital after he fell and did not have a ride home. We don't know what we would do without them all.

Kim C. Is spectacular!! In a short time she has gotten to know us well and can do a lot of tasks without asking us about them. She is so loving and patient with us. My CK caregiver is PATTY LUNG. She is the BEST person I have ever had for home care. I would give her more than five stars if that were possible. Everyone who meets Patty loves her. She is kind and VERY helpful. She initiates tasks and always makes my house a happy home. She assists with all homemaking and with every one of my physical handicaps and needs, from exercise to medications, to meals, to bathing. My vision was permanently damaged by a stroke. I could not stay in my home without her. Even my cat, Pete, loves her. He runs to meet her at the door each morning and snuggles with her as much as he does with me. Being introduced to the Comfort Keepers was very pleasant, we were assisted by a variety of professional helpers. The three who helped right away were Melanie, Janice and Bethany. The initial stage was for us to follow up with our long term care insurance and that administrative team helped us navigate that process. Janice's initial visit was very through. It's important to know they are available 24/7. I started for companionship for my husband and he was very accepting for the women to come in. Everyone was very kind and easy for my husband to talk with. My husband liked to inform them of his life experiences and his family. The Comfort Keepers seemed so genuinely interested in him. Nancy has come along and charmed my husband with her baked goods. She has even had him in the kitchen helping. Michelle who has been with us now for a year is a really special person, warm, a good listener, caring and willing to do anything for us. Michelle has a strong sense of family. When ever I call the office staff I get an answer on the call immediately. The Joy Ride was a joy for us.
