Most of staff working hard & on task assisting residents. Some residents need to ask for help. Food above average although service has slowed bc of lack of staffing.

Latrice, at their customer service desk, is the absolute most wonderful human being I’ve ever experienced. My grandmother is a patient there, and we had some concerns so I gave a call to them, she answered and made me feel so reassured, understood, and respected. I truly hope that every single one of your employees follows after her suit. Latrice is not even a nurse, but she still made me feel so reassured about my grandmothers care. Having your grandmother in a nursing home is already hard enough, to have someone like this be able to talk to you, like a human being, with kindness and compassion, truly makes everything different. She is the best person I have ever experience with a customer service job.. I feel so much better having my grandmother there, because of her kindness and humanity. I truly hope they give her a raise!

This place is one of the most beautiful senior living facilities I’ve seen and everyone there was very helpful and friendly one of the staff members I remember is Charlie he was so helpful and nice I recommend this place to anyone. 5stars all the way!!!

When you can no longer stay in your home, Waltonwood is the place to be. The building has so many charming characteristics, one being the grand staircase when you first enter. It holds less than 100 residents so the employees know everyone & remembers all our names! I moved in four months ago and I am very happy with my choice!

Waltonwood Royal Oak is a wonderful community. They are a great referral partner and truly care about their residents. They are professional and dedicated. They seem to be following all covid protocols spot on. This is the right thing to protect seniors and their families

We held a wonderful 80th birthday party for my step-mother at Waltonwood. We invited 40 family, friends, and neighbors to share the event. Waltonwood provided the space and the catering for the party. It was really lovely and the food was delicious. My parents have only been at Waltonwood for 6 months but they have been such a source of support and companionship to all of our family as we experience the untraveled paths and uncertainties of aging. It has really provided my parents with a source of stability, care, and monitoring that I am sure has strengthened their health and lengthened our time together.

As the CEO of an emergency services provider (STAT EMS), I had a great experience with Waltonwood Royal Oak. The staff of Waltonwood reached out to my company with an offer to donate a power wheelchair that a resident was no longer in need of. I was impressed with the unsolicited gesture and the wheelchair is now being used by a family in need. Additionally, my staff had great things to say about the organization and friendliness of the Waltonwood staff while facilitating the pick up of the wheelchair. Thank you to Waltonwood for being community minded enough to reach out with the offer and a special thanks to resident George Hartley for the generous donation!

This was my last stop shopping for a place for Mom. I almost cancelled because i was getting tired of all the tours, but Im sure glad we did. It was a clear winner right away. Everything seemed a cut above the rest from the apartments themselves to the staff, the care, the outings, events, activities, and the food. Both the building and the care programs were built from the ground up to take care of, and spoil my mom. The location was perfect and the pricing was less than I thought it would be. Shes been there almost 6 months and loves it. She has many new friends, and she now happily calls Waltonwood home. I think youre family will have a similar experience, but Id definitely recommend going to Waltonwood first.

First class organization! The staff is warm and welcoming and they take great care to create an atmosphere where you or your loved one can truly feel at home. They also take pride in providing a seamless transition into a new environment which, of course, often seems intimidating and stress inducing. I would recommend Waltonwood Royal Oak to anybody looking for a great environment for a loved one in the Royal Oak area.

I have been to so many hospitals over 18 years due to my paralyzation and I have went to Beaumont Hospital twice and every time I went there I was very satisfied bedside manners is number one and they passed every test I will never go to another hospital at all and I was on 5 North everybody on the floor was wonderful
